Regional CEO

Growth Leader (Organic + Acquisition) · Integration & Field Operations · Reports to CEO / Executive Leadership · Location: [Region / Headquarters City]

About Paradise Pools

Paradise Pools is a fast-growing, multi-market pool services and construction platform built through a deliberate combination of organic growth and strategic acquisitions. As we open new markets and service lines and bring newly acquired companies into the Paradise Pools family, we are looking for a hands-on operating leader who can unify field service and construction operations, integrate acquired teams and systems, and build a scalable regional platform for the next phase of growth, both organic and acquisitive.

Position Summary

The Regional CEO will own the full P&L and day-to-day performance of Paradise Pools' operations, with a specific mandate to drive growth through both organic expansion and acquisition, standardize operations, and successfully integrate newly acquired companies onto a common operating model. This is a builder's role: part operator, part integrator, part growth leader. The ideal candidate has deep roots in field service and/or construction (pools, HVAC, landscaping, home services, or similar trades), has led through M&A integration before, and is energized by scaling a business rather than simply maintaining one.

Key Responsibilities

Growth & Scaling (Organic + Acquisition)

  • Own the P&L, driving revenue growth, margin improvement, and operational efficiency across all locations.
  • Set and own a dual-engine growth strategy in which organic expansion and acquisition are co-equal priorities, each with its own targets, plan, and resourcing.
  • Drive organic growth: new crews, new markets, and new service lines, plus route density and share-of-wallet within existing branches.
  • Drive growth through acquisition: partner with corporate development to sustain a healthy pipeline and serve as the operating sponsor who turns each closed deal into a performing, integrated branch.
  • Identify and act on opportunities to cross-sell services, improve pricing discipline, and grow customer lifetime value across the portfolio.
  • Partner with executive leadership on capital planning, budgeting, and long-range strategy.

Mergers & Acquisitions Integration

  • Serve as the primary operating leader for integrating newly acquired companies into Paradise Pools: people, process, systems, and culture.
  • Build and execute 100-day and first-year integration plans for each acquisition, aligning org structures, consolidating back-office functions, and migrating to shared platforms (CRM, scheduling, fleet, finance).
  • Retain and develop legacy leadership and top talent from acquired companies while instilling Paradise Pools' standards and culture.
  • Identify and capture synergies across acquired businesses (purchasing, fleet, real estate, technology, and labor) without disrupting customer service.
  • Work closely with corporate development and finance teams to support due diligence on future acquisitions, bringing an operator's lens to deal evaluation.

Field Service & Construction Operations

  • Oversee all field service, maintenance, repair, and construction operations across the region, ensuring consistent quality, safety, and customer experience.
  • Standardize operating procedures, crew productivity metrics, dispatch/scheduling practices, and quality control across all branches and acquired companies.
  • Champion a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with relevant licensing, permitting, and regulatory requirements across all jurisdictions in the region.
  • Optimize fleet, equipment, and materials management to support both service and construction crews at scale.

Leadership & Talent

  • Recruit, coach, and lead a team of General Managers, branch leaders, and functional heads across the region.
  • Build a leadership bench capable of supporting continued growth and future acquisitions.
  • Foster a unified Paradise Pools culture across legacy and newly acquired teams, reinforcing shared values and performance expectations.
  • Report regularly to executive leadership and/or ownership on regional performance, integration milestones, and growth initiatives.

What Success Looks Like in the First 12 Months

  • Both growth engines are producing: organic expansion (new crews, markets, and service lines) is on or ahead of plan, and the acquisition pipeline is advancing on an operator-tested integration model.
  • Newly acquired companies are operating on unified systems and processes, with key leaders retained and engaged.
  • Regional revenue and margin targets are on or ahead of plan, with clear visibility into performance by branch and business line.
  • A repeatable integration playbook exists and has been validated on at least one acquisition.
  • Safety, quality, and customer satisfaction metrics are stable or improving across all locations, including newly acquired ones.
  • A strong, capable leadership bench is in place to support the next round of growth and acquisitions.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of senior operating leadership experience (GM, VP of Operations, Regional President/CEO, or similar), ideally in field service, home services, construction, or a related trades-based industry.
  • Proven track record of scaling a business through both organic growth and acquisition.
  • Direct experience integrating acquired companies, combining operations, systems, and teams post-close, is strongly preferred.
  • P&L ownership experience across multiple locations or a multi-site region.
  • Strong operational fluency in field service and/or construction: scheduling/dispatch, crew productivity, fleet and equipment management, permitting, and safety compliance.
  • Excellent people leadership skills, with experience building and leading multi-layered leadership teams.
  • Comfortable operating in a private-equity-backed or founder-led growth environment with regular reporting to ownership/executive leadership.
  • Willingness to travel regularly across the region, including to newly acquired locations.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience will be strongly considered.

Compensation & Location

  • Compensation: Base salary plus bonus & equity structure
  • Location: Napa, SF Bay Area with the ability to travel.
