As a Regional Channel Sales Manager at Spectrum Business, you will drive voice, data and video sales within a defined territory, connecting businesses with tailored communication solutions. Your efforts will directly influence customer satisfaction and revenue growth, making a measurable impact on Spectrum Business' sales success.
How You'll Make an Impact
  • Conduct proactive needs analysis with prospective customers to develop client-focused product solutions
  • Design and present sales proposals that highlight Spectrum Business' voice, data and video benefits to small, medium and large businesses
  • Achieve monthly revenue targets through strategic sales activities and persistent lead generation
  • Contact and qualify new leads using telephone outreach, cold calls, networking and industry events
  • Request and coordinate site surveys and submit ROI analyses to sales management
  • Maintain accurate sales databases to track activity and customer information
  • Collaborate with Account Management and business services teams to ensure seamless account handoff and ongoing client retention
  • Attend sales meetings and training sessions to stay updated on Spectrum Business' offerings and best practices

What You'll Bring to Spectrum
Required Qualifications
Education
  • Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university preferred

Experience
  • 5+ years of sales experience exceeding revenue quotas, preferably selling data, voice or video solutions in the telecommunications industry

Skills
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
  • Five or more years of sales experience exceeding revenue quotas, preferably selling data, voice and/or video solutions in the telecommunications industry
  • Working knowledge of computer networking, LAN and WAN technologies, high-capacity and fiber-connected networks required
  • Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record

Preferred Qualifications
Experience
  • Experience calling on Agent Channel Partners
  • Proven business-to-business sales experience with "C level" decision makers

A qualified applicant's criminal history, if any, will be considered in a manner consistent with applicable laws, including local ordinances.
The base pay for this position generally is between
$83,200.00 and $163,300.00. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.
In addition, this position has a commission earnings target starting at
$72,000.
