Regional Director of CMD Operations Job Description

Hours: Full Time (30+ hours per week)

FLSA Status: Exempt (Salary)


The Regional Director of CMD Operations plays a critical leadership role in advancing Vesta Property Services’ mission of delivering exceptional community management through partnership, expertise, and accountability. Reporting directly to the Regional Vice President (RVP), this role provides strategic and operational oversight for the community management teams and associations within an assigned region. The Regional Director of CMD Operations is responsible for driving operational excellence, strengthening client relationships, developing high-performing leaders, and ensuring consistent execution of corporate and regional objectives. This individual serves as a trusted advisor to community boards and internal stakeholders while reinforcing Vesta’s standards, culture, and commitment to service excellence.


RESPONSIBLITIES AND DUTIES


  • Partner with the RVP to implement regional strategy, operational priorities, and performance goals.
  • Drive execution of corporate initiatives and regional business plans.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, service delivery, and financial performance across offices.
  • Establish accountability standards and measurable performance benchmarks.
  • Provide senior-level oversight and guidance for assigned offices and key client relationships.
  • Support General Managers (GM) and Community Association Managers in navigating complex governance,
  • operational, and board-related matters.
  • Strengthen long-term partnerships with Boards of Directors through proactive communication, education, and
  • strategic counsel.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous professional development.
  • Assist General Managers and Community managers with budget development, financial performance monitoring,
  • and operational planning across the region.
  • Ensure consistent application of company policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Analyze performance metrics, identify trends, and assist with implementing corrective action when necessary.
  • Collaborate with accounting, maintenance, legal, and corporate departments to ensure operational alignment and
  • fiscal responsibility.
  • Ensure adherence to governing documents, state statutes, and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide leadership on compliance enforcement, risk mitigation, and consistency in community standards.
  • Partner with legal counsel and executive leadership on complex or high-risk matters.
  • Serve as a liaison between regional operations and corporate leadership.
  • Support client retention, contract renewals, and strategic growth initiatives.
  • Participate in leadership planning and contribute to strengthening Vesta’s operational model.

REQUIRED EXPEREINCE AND QUALIFICATIONS


  • Professional credentials preferred (CMCA®, AMS®, PCAM®, LCAM®, or equivalent).
  • Demonstrated experience leading multiple teams or offices within a multi-site operational structure.
  • Strong knowledge of community association governance, financial management, and operational best practices.
  • Experience in community management, property management, or multi-site operations
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy with documentation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIROMENT


  • This role is primarily sedentary, with extended periods of sitting at a desk or working on a computer.
  • Occasional lifting of items up to 20 lbs. may be required.
  • Work is performed in a standard office environment with typical office noise and conditions.
  • May require occasional travel between company locations related events.
