Regional Director of Provider Relations (Physician Liaison) – Hybrid

Position Summary

The Regional Director of Provider Relations is a hybrid leadership and in-market role responsible for driving both individual territory performance and regional team success. This position oversees and supports a team of Physician Liaisons while maintaining full ownership and accountability for an assigned territory.

Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Provider Relations, the Regional Director is expected to operate as a high-performing individual contributor, consistently meeting or exceeding territory-specific growth goals, activity metrics, and production expectations.

In parallel, this role provides day-to-day leadership, coaching, and performance management for a team of Physician Liaisons. The Regional Director is responsible for ensuring alignment to organizational goals, implementing standardized best practices, and fostering a high-performance, collaborative team culture across their region.

This position requires strong cross-functional collaboration with Regional Directors, Operations, Clinical teams, and Marketing leadership to align on strategy, share best practices, and drive consistency across markets.

Key responsibilities include expanding CCRM’s physician referral network, strengthening strategic partnerships with Unified and non-OBGYN providers, and increasing patient volume through targeted outreach, market analysis, and relationship development.

This role is ideal for a motivated, hands-on leader who thrives in a collaborative environment, leads by example, and can effectively balance individual execution with team oversight.

This role includes a 90-day evaluation period to assess performance, leadership alignment, and overall success in both territory and management responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee, coach, and manage a team of 4–7 Physician Liaisons, ensuring accountability, consistency, and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Provide ongoing mentorship and leadership through regular 1:1 meetings, field coaching, and performance management.
  • Maintain full ownership of an assigned territory, driving net new provider referrals, strengthening existing referral relationships, and achieving new patient volume growth goals.
  • Execute strategic provider engagement and market development activities to support territory growth and referral expansion.
  • Collaborate closely with other Regional Directors and leadership teams to align on strategy, share best practices, and ensure consistency across markets.
  • Maintain accurate reporting of provider engagement activity across both individual and team territories, including referral pipeline performance, market insights, and territory metrics.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Clinical, Marketing, and Operations teams to support coordinated growth initiatives and enhance both provider and patient experience.
  • Provide regular updates to the Senior Director regarding team performance, market trends, growth opportunities, and strategic initiatives.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of new Physician Liaisons to ensure a strong and scalable regional team structure.
  • Lead by example through active field engagement and provider relationship management, demonstrating best practices in territory execution and partnership development.

Location Requirements

  • Candidate must reside within and manage a territory in the Central Region, specifically within one of the following states:
    • Texas
    • Minnesota
    • Illinois
  • This role requires a high level of in-market activity and frequent regional travel.
