Mission of the Role (What you will be doing)

The Regional PMP & Strategic Accounts Project Manager / Merchandiser is responsible for managing and conducting Packaging Management Program (PMP) customer assessments and supporting Strategic Accounts initiatives across SupplyOne locations in Texas, Oklahoma, Missouri, and Arkansas.

This position serves as the primary regional point of contact for the Strategic Accounts team and coordinates the onboarding, implementation, communication, and ongoing servicing expectations for assigned multi-location accounts. The role works closely with Strategic Accounts, Sales, Operations, Procurement, Customer Service, Accounting, and local SupplyOne locations to ensure all parties understand account requirements, responsibilities, timelines, and service expectations.

The position is also responsible for merchandising and sourcing activities for the Dallas location. This includes identifying appropriate products and suppliers, supporting local sales opportunities, maintaining supplier relationships, and helping ensure products are competitively sourced and available to meet customer needs.

Key Duties & Accountabilities (Primary responsibilities)

- Manages the Packaging Management Program for all SupplyOne locations in OK, TX, MO and AR.
- Analyze PMP effectiveness and recommend improvements based on customer feedback, cost savings, or process efficiency.
- Coordinate with Sales, Operations, and Procurement teams to ensure smooth PMP implementation and execution.
- Serve as the area point of contact for the Strategic Accounts team and internal team to coordinate the onboarding, implementation, transition, and ongoing service of multi-location accounts.
- Communicate account requirements, responsibilities, timelines, and service expectations to regional and local stakeholders.
- Manage merchandising and sourcing activities for the Dallas location.
- Maintain project documentation, assessment records, sourcing information, action items, and status updates.
- Work cross-functionally with Strategic Accounts, Sales, Operations, Procurement, Customer Service, Accounting, suppliers, and local servicing locations. Complete other duties and projects assigned by Regional Leadership.
- Establish and manage key brand relationships, ensuring optimal speed to market, product quality, and commercial terms.

Qualifications

Essential Functions (Essential functions that support primary responsibilities)

Packaging Management Program

- Plan and conduct PMP assessments throughout Texas, Oklahoma, Missouri, and Arkansas.
- Collect and analyze customer invoices, product data, specifications, and samples.
- Identify sourcing opportunities, cost savings, product consolidation, and process improvements.
- Coordinate assessment activities with customers, Sales, Procurement, Operations, and servicing locations.
- Maintain accurate assessment data, track open items, and communicate results and next steps.

Strategic Accounts Project Manager

- Serve as the area liaison between Strategic Accounts and SupplyOne locations in Texas, Oklahoma, Missouri, and Arkansas.
- Coordinate the onboarding, transition, and ongoing support of multi-location accounts.
- Coordinate pricing, item setup, inventory, ordering, billing, shipping, and reporting requirements.
- Maintain project timelines and action items, resolve issues, and escalate concerns as needed.
- Promote consistent execution and service expectations across all supporting locations.

Merchandising

- Manage merchandising and sourcing activities for the Dallas location.
- Identify and evaluate products and suppliers based on quality, price, availability, service, and lead time.
- Obtain and compare quotations, specifications, samples, minimums, freight terms, and lead times.
- Support sales opportunities, product conversions, cost savings, and alternative-product recommendations.
- Negotiate supplier terms and coordinate product setup, purchasing, stocking, and inventory requirements.
- Maintain supplier relationships and accurate sourcing documentation.

Educational/Training Requirements/Experience (What your background should look like)

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Marketing, or a related field; Master's degree is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in sourcing or merchandising in a regional or multi-market role.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze sales and performance data and translate insights into action.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with experience managing internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in procurement or planning tools (e.g., Encore, Procure Pro, Power BI, Microsoft Suite).
- 30% Travel required.

Minimum Skills, Knowledge & Ability Requirements

- Proficiency in basic computer skills is required.

- Experience with supplier sourcing, quotation analysis, product comparisons, and negotiations.

- Knowledge of packaging products, materials, specifications, suppliers, and manufacturing processes.

The final base pay offered to the successful candidate will be determined by factors such as work location, job-related skills, qualifications, experience, responsibilities, and relevant education and training.
