The Regional Sales Director will own sales performance and distribution growth across an assigned region. This role is responsible for developing and executing regional sales strategies, managing distributor and retail chain relationships, and driving key account authorizations and in store execution. You will partner closely with Strategy, Sales, and Marketing teams to track performance, optimize product placement, and support continued growth of Happy Dad Hard Seltzer and Tea.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute regional sales strategies to achieve volume, revenue, and distribution goals
  • Lead, coach, and develop Area Managers, Territory Managers and sales representatives within the territory
  • Manage distributor relationships, including planning, performance reviews, forecasting, and execution of sales initiatives
  • Drive execution of national and regional promotions, pricing programs, and brand initiatives
  • Identify new market opportunities, key accounts, and channel growth strategies (on-premise, off-premise, chains, independents)
  • Analyze sales data, depletion trends, and market conditions to adjust strategy and improve performance
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Trade Marketing, Finance, and Operations teams
  • Oversee regional budgets, forecasting, and expense management
  • Ensure compliance with alcohol beverage laws, company policies, and ethical standards
  • Represent the company at industry events, distributor meetings, and key customer presentations

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of sales experience in the alcohol beverage industry, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role
  • Strong knowledge of the three-tier distribution system
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth and managing distributor performance
  • Experience across multiple channels (on-premise, off-premise, chain, independent)
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Strong analytical and forecasting capabilities
  • Ability to travel extensively within the assigned region
  • Strategic thinker with strong execution capabilities
  • Hands-on leadership style with the ability to motivate and develop teams
  • Results-driven and data-focused decision maker
  • Strong relationship-builder with distributors and key accounts
  • Passion for the alcohol beverage industry and brand building

Job Type: Full-time, Remote 

Pay: $150,000 - $180,000
