About the role.
JSSI is currently searching for an experienced Regional Sales Director to join our expanding aviation supply chain division, JSSI Parts & Leasing. JSSI is the world’s largest independent provider of hourly cost maintenance programs, and supply chain solutions.
Position Summary:
The Regional Sales Director will provide day-to-day sales support of our multi-million-dollar business. Will work collaboratively with internal resources to ensure JSSI Parts & Leasing (JPL) is capitalizing on every profitable opportunity. Successful Sales Directors are
entrepreneurs at their core, business professionals with integrity, and have the capacity to effectively grow and manage a customer base.
This region encompasses Mountain- West From Colorado to California- Down to Texas and North to Washington State
Duties and Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for prospects & customers in Western region of the United States
- Create relationships with MROs, Operators, and Flight Departments
- Present proposals in support of customer exchange, sale, and lease requirements – Engines, APUs, and airframe components
- Identify and quickly execute on sale and purchase opportunities
- Identify strategic partners for forward stocking of inventory
- Target customers with procurement needs that can be supported through JPL’s Supply Chain Solutions business
- Effectively present the JPL value proposition to prospective customers
- Provide creative revenue generating solutions to customers
- Settle discrepancies with customers in a professional and timely manner
- Identify market trends to anticipate areas of opportunity
- Maximize sales and margin results
- Attend domestic and international trade shows and conferences
Desired Credentials
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3-5+ years of Aviation Sales experience preferred
- Knowledge of the private aviation sector and/or MRO space preferred
- Working knowledge of aircraft and engines
- Ability to cultivate strong relationships and communicate effectively in person, over email, and via telephone
- Ability to function independently
- Highly organized, motivated, and able to thrive in fast-paced sales cycle
- Domestic and international travel may be required for this position - 50%+
At JSSI, we are committed to rewarding our team members with competitive and comprehensive compensation packages that reflect their contributions and talent.
For this role, the annual base pay generally ranges from $105,000 to $115,000, with the final offer determined by variable factors including but not limited to market location, job-specific knowledge, skills, education, and experience. In addition, your total rewards package may include an annual discretionary bonus plan, incentive or sales bonus plan, or other form of additional compensation, based on your role.
