Regional Sales Manager/Business Development – HVAC (Western U.S.)

RectorSeal, a leading manufacturer of chemical specialty sealants and mechanical products for professional trades, is seeking a Regional Business Development Manager to support its Aspen Manufacturing division.
Aspen Manufacturing is one of the largest independent producers of evaporator coils and air handlers, serving residential, multi-family, manufactured housing, and light commercial markets under the Aspen, AspenPro, and AirMark brands. We are looking for a highly motivated, results-driven sales professional to grow our HVAC product portfolio across the Western region (AZ, CA, NM, NV, and HI).
Key Responsibilities
- Drive outside sales activities to achieve regional sales goals
- Expand market penetration by securing new customers and growing existing accounts
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers within the assigned territory
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and stakeholders
- Educate internal teams, contractors, and manufacturer representatives on Aspen product lines
- Understand local market dynamics, including competition, purchasing trends, and customer needs
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of HVAC distribution channels and regional customer base
- Identify customer requirements and recommend appropriate Aspen product solutions
- Provide product, pricing, and service information to customers
- Participate in industry events, dealer meetings, and utility programs
- Report weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual regional sales performance
- Collaborate with other Business Development and Regional Sales Managers to meet individual and team quotas
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Preference for candidates residing in Arizona, California, or Nevada
Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Three years of recent B2B sales management experience
- Experience in the HVAC channel through wholesale distribution
- Ability to travel up to 50% domestically, including overnight travel
- Experience selling residential HVAC equipment
Skills and Competencies:
- Proven ability to manage, train, and motivate independent manufacturer representatives
- Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Strong multitasking, administrative, and reporting skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
