Job Description

We're looking for a Regional Strategic Account Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic account plans for our most valuable clients across the region. You will drive revenue growth, strengthen client relationships, and serve as a key liaison between our organization and our strategic partners. This position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on our business while managing high-value accounts and leading cross-functional initiatives.

  • Develop and implement comprehensive strategic account plans for assigned regional accounts, identifying growth opportunities and market expansion strategies
  • Manage the full account lifecycle, including prospecting, negotiation, contract closure, and ongoing relationship management with key stakeholders
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to clients
  • Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and client needs to provide strategic recommendations and customize solutions that drive client success
  • Forecast sales pipelines, track key performance metrics, and prepare regular business reviews for senior management
  • Utilize sales tools (ie SalesForce, Power BI) to develop and monitor strategic plans and activities within assigned independent distributor accounts to execute and manage performance
  • Collaborate with internal teams including product, operations, and customer success to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction
  • Build and maintain a strong professional network within the region to support business development and account growth initiatives
  • Represent the organization at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings to strengthen brand presence and generate new business opportunities
  • Manage account budgets and P&L responsibility for assigned territories, ensuring profitability and sustainable growth
  • Travel 50% within the assigned region (from Virginia up to Maine)

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Degree preferred or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience in strategic account management, enterprise sales, or business development
  • Experience in proactively driving new business development
  • Must be able to travel a minimum of 50% within assigned territory
  • Must reside within the assigned Northeast territory (Virginia to Maine)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of successfully managing and growing strategic accounts with demonstrated revenue impact
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills with the ability to influence at executive levels
  • Proficiency with CRM software and sales analytics tools; ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple complex accounts simultaneously
  • Strategic thinking and business acumen with demonstrated ability to develop and execute account growth strategies
  • Strong relationship-building capabilities and established ability to build trust with clients and internal stakeholders
