Job Summary & Responsibilities

We have an exciting career opportunity for a Regional Vice President (RVP) to launch and lead BI WORLDWIDE's new Silicon Valley region.

The RVP is responsible for building and leading a high-performing team of Business Development Directors (BDDs) and growing revenue in the Silicon Valley market (San Jose, Palo Alto, Mountain View, Cupertino, Menlo Park, and Sunnyvale). This is a unique opportunity to establish a new regional office, shape its culture, and lead our growth strategy in one of the most dynamic markets in the world.

A core priority of the Tech Hub is expanding our presence with major technology companies--selling to their sales, revenue operations, and channel organizations. Our solutions are built with advanced incentive and recognition technology that helps GTM leaders activate high-value behaviors, accelerate sales performance, and strengthen channel engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and lead a team: Recruit, develop, and coach top-performing sales professionals while fostering accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Drive regional growth: Partner with BDDs in the field to identify opportunities, win new business, and expand enterprise relationships.
  • Strategic leadership: Develop and execute a regional business plan aligned to company goals.
  • Client engagement: Build trusted, long-term relationships with senior decision makers at Fortune 500 and leading tech/SaaS companies.
  • Operational focus: Manage P&L performance, ensuring both revenue growth and profitability.

What We're Looking For:

  • 10+ years of direct B2B sales experience, with sales management experience preferred.
  • Proven track record of success selling into Fortune 500 companies, including large tech and SaaS organizations.
  • Experience leading complex solution sales such as enterprise culture transformation, performance incentives, events/travel, training, and marketing/loyalty programs.
  • Demonstrated success staffing and scaling a sales team or driving turnaround growth in an existing office.
  • History of closing large enterprise deals ($500K+ per sale) with sales cycles of 6--12 months.
  • Strong record of performance recognition and income growth tied to commissions/bonuses.
  • Maximum of 3 jobs in the past 12 years, and currently employed or unemployed no longer than 7 months.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred; advanced degree a plus.
  • Established executive-level network in Silicon Valley.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, with strong boardroom presence.

Essential Qualities of an RVP:

  • Strategic, growth-oriented leadership that adds value to client relationships.
  • Ability to attract and retain high-performing sales talent.
  • A customer-centric sales philosophy built on trust and results.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and presence with C-level executives.
  • High energy, positive attitude, and a team-first mindset.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Compensation is not capped and is based on regional sales growth. This includes a base salary plus fiscal year bonuses based on revenue growth and contribution to profit.
  • Base Salary Range: $192,000 to $234,000.00. The final salary and offer will be determined by the applicant's background, experience, and skills.
  • RVPs are eligible for a suite of performance reward programs, including an annual President's Club travel award opportunity.
  • Other benefits include a car allowance, company laptop, mobile device reimbursement, and full expense account for client entertainment.

This role is based in Silicon Valley, and the selected candidate must live in the region.
