This is a remote position.

Are you a hands-on Python engineer who knows cybersecurity compliance inside out and can lead an enterprise deployment from kickoff to go-live? If you enjoy working directly with CISOs and GRC teams, building secure AI agent workflows, and turning field feedback into product improvements, we'd love to hear from you!

You'll lead implementations of our client's SOC for AI platform, an enterprise solution to deploy, monitor, audit, and enforce the security and compliance of AI agents, their tools/MCPs, and deterministic Python workflows. This is a part-time, fully remote role. Read on to see if you'd be a good fit for the Scopic team of 250+ professionals from over 60 countries.

Responsibilities

  • Own SOC for AI platform implementations end-to-end, from kickoff to go-live in enterprise environments
  • Plan, track, and manage project timelines, deliverables, and milestones, adapting to technical and compliance realities on the ground
  • Proactively identify, log, and mitigate project risks; ensure deployments meet strict cybersecurity, quality, and performance standards
  • Act as the primary point of contact between client stakeholders (CISOs, GRC teams, Data Scientists) and internal Product & Engineering teams
  • Keep clients informed of the product roadmap, updates, and new capabilities
  • Deploy and configure the platform, mapping agent behaviors and audit trails to regulatory controls and cybersecurity policies
  • Enforce security policies, observability, and compliance guardrails for AI agents within enterprise boundaries
  • Integrate client data systems and APIs via MCPs while maintaining data privacy and access controls (RBAC)
  • Design, build, and deploy custom deterministic Python workflows that run alongside AI models for reliable, secure, and auditable outcomes
  • Identify gaps in AI auditability, compliance mapping, or MCP tooling during implementations and translate them into clear engineering requirements
  • Define and track success metrics (e.g., compliance control coverage, anomaly detection rates, automated audit reporting)
  • Present security outcomes and platform ROI to executive stakeholders, and identify opportunities to expand the platform's footprint

Requirements

  • Advanced Python proficiency for writing robust, deterministic backend workflows and secure API integrations
  • Hands-on experience with LLMs, function calling/tool use, and agentic frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex, AutoGen, CrewAI)
  • Understanding of Model Context Protocol (MCP) and secure connections between AI models and external data sources
  • Familiarity with implementing controls for major frameworks such as NIST CSF, NIST 800-53, ISO 27001, SOC 2, FedRAMP, CMMC, and PCI-DSS
  • Experience with enterprise security concepts: access management (RBAC/ABAC), DLP, encryption, and audit logging
  • Familiarity with cloud deployments (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization
  • Proven experience leading large enterprise software or security deployments, including project planning, risk mitigation, and quality control
  • Strong client-facing communication skills, with a track record of working with technical teams, compliance officers, and executive leadership
  • Ability to present the business value of AI security and compliance to non-technical leaders
  • Understanding of AI risk management guidelines such as NIST AI RMF and OWASP Top 10 for LLMs
  • Previous experience in a Forward Deployed Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or technical implementation lead role
  • Experience identifying upsell or account expansion opportunities through delivery
  • Self-motivated and able to maintain tight project governance in a flexible, part-time, remote setup
  • Excellent written and spoken English
