Job Title: Reporting Manager
Position Summary:
Magna Legal Services is seeking a skilled and proactive Business Intelligence Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in developing the analytics practice for our largest line of business, including maintaining existing assets, gathering new requirements from stakeholders, translating business needs into data-driven solutions, and creating insightful reports using Sigma, our data visualization platform. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex data insights in a clear and understandable manner. Experience with Snowflake is considered a plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and objectives, ensuring that reporting deliverables meet business needs.
- Design, develop, and maintain reports and dashboards in Sigma, providing actionable insights to support decision-making processes across the organization.
- Utilize SQL and other data manipulation languages to extract and manipulate data from various sources, including Snowflake.
- Implement and advocate for best practices in data governance, reporting standards, and data integrity within Sigma and other data analysis tools.
- Perform data analysis to uncover trends, patterns, and insights that can influence strategic decisions.
- Actively participate in the evaluation and selection of data analytics tools and processes to improve and streamline reporting capabilities.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of the data warehouse in Snowflake, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or a similar role, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality reports and insights.
- Proficiency in Sigma or similar reporting platforms, with the ability to design and implement complex reports and dashboards.
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with data warehouses, including Snowflake or similar technologies.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to analyze large datasets and generate meaningful insights.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in data modeling, ETL processes, and data visualization techniques is highly desirable.
- A team player with a proactive approach and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation: USD $110,000 - $125,000 per year.
An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees.
