Research Analyst
We are seeking a Research Analyst to join our team to help us stay at the forefront of all wider developments across web3. As a Research Analyst, you will play a crucial role in conducting market research, analyzing industry trends, and providing insights on the blockchain ecosystem. Your primary focus will be maximizing Sei's intellectual capital, gathering data and conducting in-depth analysis across the broader web3 industry, and producing reports across our engineering teams that drives informed decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Research various blockchain related topics and synthesize findings into deep-dive thematic reports
- Self initiative in identifying prospective report topics
- Run weekly learning sessions across our engineering team to report findings
- Stay on top of key developments in crypto
- Engage on social media platforms (incl. Twitter), knowledge sharing across wider parties or the Sei ecosystem, and participate in industry events in representing Sei
Qualifications
- Must have at least 1+ year of prior experience conducting similar research across Web 3 or Crypto Venture Capital
- Crypto-native – you know multiple protocols inside-out, are familiar with major themes and sectors, and have basic knowledge of 50-100 infrastructure and application layer protocols
- A desire to develop subject matter expertise across multiple disciplines across Web 3 and insatiable curiosity to research new topics
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to articulate your analysis and insights concisely and with clarity
