What We Need: 

We are seeking a Revenue Accounting Manager who thrives in a high-growth, fast-paced environment and is motivated by tackling complex challenges. The ideal candidate is someone who brings deep expertise in billing, collections, and revenue accounting, and who is energized by building structure in a dynamic setting. This person is hands-on, driven, and willing to work hard to make a meaningful impact as we scale—bringing both operational rigor and problem-solving agility to our revenue processes. 

What You Will Do: 

  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of revenue accounting, accounts receivable, the related COGS, cash management, and tax compliance functions for the Equip line of business 
  • Ensure timely and accurate revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606 and collaborate with the Equip billing team to support billing and collections. 
  • Ensure accurate application of payments and credits, and resolution of customer billing issues. 
  • Review and approve significant write-offs, credit memos, adjustments, and policy-driven credits. 
  • Own reserves and expected credit loss modeling in accordance with ASC 326, including analysis of write-offs, recovery trends, and risk adjustments. 
  • Maintain compliance with sales & use tax, and other related taxes  
  • Partner with the GL Accounting Manager to ensure alignment during close and audit cycles. 
  • Drive technical accounting research, documentation, and GAAP compliance 
  • Support external audits by preparing revenue and tax schedules, AR schedules, reserve calculations and policy documentation, and responding to auditor inquiries. 
  • Implement and improve accounting processes, systems, and internal controls related to Equip revenue & COGS, AR, and tax. 
  • Develop and maintain policies and procedures to ensure accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency. 
  • Support system and process improvements, enhancing billing workflows, cash application accuracy, and credit-authorization procedures. 

What You Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 
  • 5–7 years of experience in accounting, with a strong background in revenue accounting, billing/collections, and experience in retail or sale of good environments. 
  • Strong understanding of bad debt accounting, write-offs, reserves and ASC 326. 
  • Experience in reporting, month-end close and bank reconciliations. 
  • Strong excel skills, proficient in MS Office applications and ability to learn new systems. 
  • Experience with sales tax and multi-state compliance. 
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills. 
  • High attention to detail and accuracy In a fast-paced, evolving environment. 

What Sets You Apart: 

  • CPA certification. 
  • Strong leadership skills. 
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. 
  • Experience in healthcare accounting. 
  • Experience with Sage Intacct or similar ERP 
  • Deep understanding of multi-state sales tax regulations and revenue recognition standards. 

Compensation:

The base salary range for this position is $100,800 –$126,000 annually. This range reflects the anticipated compensation at the time of posting. Final compensation will be based on factors such as relevant experience, demonstrated skills, internal equity, and prevailing market conditions. Compensation discussions are encouraged throughout the hiring process.
