Lime is hiring a Revenue Accounting Manager to join our Corporate Accounting team! The Revenue Accounting Manager will play a critical role in the worldwide Lime controllership. You will be responsible for the accurate and timely reporting of Lime’s global accounting processes for revenue-related transactions. You will collaborate with the Business Development, Engineering, Corporate Technology, and Financial Technology teams to ensure proper revenue recognition processes, and contribute to the financial integrity of the organization. You will also be involved in the implementation of processes and technology transformations to enhance Lime’s day-to-day operations at a global scale.

This is a remote position with a requirement for candidates residing in the United States to maintain effective collaboration across teams.

This position requires occasional travel to support business operations, which is considered an essential function of the role. Lime provides reasonable accommodations as needed.

What You’ll Do:

  • Review new contracts and product offerings / promotions for correct ASC606 or ASC842 treatment

  • Build relationships with Business Development teams to encourage Accounting involvement early in the proposal lifecycle

  • Work closely with FinTech to implement a new Revenue Management System

  • Manage the end-to-end accounting close process for revenue-related transactions, including managing a team of 1-2 senior accountants

  • Collaborate with teams across departments to ensure accurate billing and revenue accounting

  • Review monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue and receivables reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness

  • Implement and maintain internal controls to enhance accuracy and safeguard financial integrity

  • Participate in system improvements and process enhancements to streamline accounting operations

About You:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting

  • CPA

  • 6+ years relevant professional experience, preferably in public accounting and/or with a publicly-traded company

  • Strong understanding of US GAAP principles and SOX internal control requirements

  • Ability to use a variety of software programs and tools to analyze and work with large data sets and accomplish tasks efficiently

  • Skilled in problem solving, making decisions, being a self-starter and working effectively under pressure while meeting deadlines

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience reviewing new contracts or agreements for accurate revenue recognition

  • SQL knowledge

The salary range listed reflects what Lime reasonably expects to offer for this role, with the final base salary determined by factors such as the candidate’s location and relevant skills and experience. Depending on the position, the total compensation package may also include discretionary annual performance bonus opportunities and equity, subject to applicable plan terms and eligibility requirements.
