ABOUT THIS POSITION

The Revenue Integrity Specialist position is responsible for following procedures to make corrections to client data. This position may also require cross training of services and tasks to ensure effective collaborative efforts are made between teams and departments when needed. We are seeking an individual that has strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills.

  • What you’ll do: 

    Client Education and Success: 

    • Conduct thorough record reviews to identify opportunities for best practice process improvement. 

    • Perform reviews with sound judgment. 

    • Demonstrate proficiency in writing effective clinical documentation queries. 

    • Maintain a high level of productivity. 

    • Ensure alignment with customer expectations. 

    • Collaborate with internal teams, providing feedback from record reviews to support optimal site performance and best practice improvement.  

     

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

Qualifications We Seek: 

 

Required: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or equivalent in Health Information Management  

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a Clinical Documentation Integrity (CDI) role. 

  • Certification as a Certified Documentation Improvement Practitioner (CDIP) or Certified Clinical Documentation Specialist (CCDS). 

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel  

 

Preferred: 

  • Knowledge of medical record coding, healthcare billing, and revenue cycle management. 

  • 5+ years of clinical experience in an acute care setting.  

  • Certified Coding Specialist (CCS). 

  • Ability to travel for department and company meetings.
