Dandy is transforming the massive and antiquated dental industry—an industry worth over $200B. Backed by some of the world’s leading venture capital firms, we’re on an ambitious mission to simplify and modernize every function of the dental practice through technology. As we expand our reach globally, Dandy is building the operating system for dental offices around the world—empowering clinicians and their teams with technology, innovation, and world-class support to achieve more for their practices, their people, and their patients.

Dandy is hiring a Junior Compensation Analyst to join our rapidly growing venture-backed company. The GTM Compensation Team owns the design, administration, and ongoing optimization of sales compensation programs that drive predictable growth and align incentives across our go-to-market organization. In this role, you’ll support commission processing, compensation analysis, and reporting by pulling together data from multiple systems, validating payouts, and helping translate complex plans into clear, employee-facing materials. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on exposure to how compensation directly influences revenue outcomes, partner closely with Sales, Finance, and People teams, and build a strong foundation in compensation strategy at a high-growth company.

What You’ll Do
  • Support the administration and ongoing maintenance of Dandy’s variable compensation plans across go-to-market teams.

  • Analyze compensation and performance data to support commission processing, incentive design, and data-driven decision-making.

  • Partner with senior compensation team members, Revenue Leadership, Finance, and Revenue Ops on annual and quarterly compensation processes (new hires, role changes, plan updates).

  • Own the end-to-end preparation of compensation data by pulling, reconciling, validating, and maintaining inputs from multiple systems (HRIS, sales tools, commission platforms, spreadsheets).

  • Build and maintain commission calculators, trackers, models, and dashboards to support payouts, true-ups, validation, and reporting as sources of truth.

  • Support the operational execution of compensation plans and tools, including new tool implementations, plan launches, mid-cycle changes, and annual rollouts.

  • Test calculations, validate outputs, troubleshoot issues, and ensure accurate, timely payouts during plan and payout cycles.

  • Create and maintain compensation documentation and analysis and serve as a first line of support for compensation-related questions, while identifying opportunities to streamline processes and reduce manual work.

What We’re Looking For
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Statistics, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field

  • 2–4 years of experience in compensation, HR analytics, finance, operations, consulting, or a highly analytical role.

  • Strong quantitative skills with hands-on experience in Google Sheets / Excel (formulas, lookups, data reconciliation, basic modeling).

  • Strong skills with hands-on experience in Salesforce / Looker (report-building, dashboarding)

  • High attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership — accuracy and follow-through are critical.

  • Clear written and verbal communication skills; able to explain calculations and data simply and confidently.

  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment with shifting priorities.

  • Curious, coachable, and motivated to build expertise in compensation.

  • Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

Bonus Points For
  • Exposure to compensation, commissions, or sales incentive plans.

  • Experience with commission tools (Forma) or compensation reporting workflows.

  • Experience supporting compensation cycles, commission payouts, or plan rollouts.

  • Interest in a long-term career in compensation, people analytics, or total rewards.

  • Experience building reporting, dashboards, or data visualizations.
