About Tavrn:

Tavrn is a pioneering legal AI company transforming the plaintiff law sector through automation of medical chronologies, demand letters, and medical record retrieval. We are dedicated to becoming the leading AI-driven solution provider for personal injury, medical malpractice, workers' compensation, SSDI legal practices, and beyond.

Position Overview:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Revenue Operations Associate to own the critical systems and processes that take a deal from late-stage opportunity through close and into a healthy customer relationship. The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytically sharp, and takes pride in accuracy. You bring structure to complex processes, operate with a high degree of ownership, and do not let things fall through the cracks.

AI proficiency is a hard requirement. We are actively leaning into AI to drive operational efficiency, and we expect this person to already be using it daily to streamline deal workflows, automate reporting, and eliminate manual work across the revenue cycle.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Run the deal desk: structure, review, and process deals from late-stage pricing through contract execution, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and speed at every step.

  • Calculate and administer monthly and quarterly commission payouts, maintaining comp plan documentation and resolving discrepancies quickly and accurately.

  • Own late-stage and closed-won CRM hygiene, ensuring opportunity data, contract terms, and customer records are accurate and audit-ready at all times.

  • Support revenue recognition processes, ensuring bookings are properly recorded and reported.

  • Build and maintain dashboards that give leadership real-time visibility into pipeline health, forecast accuracy, win/loss trends, and revenue performance.

  • Analyze the late-stage sales funnel to identify conversion bottlenecks, forecast risks, and surface actionable insights for the sales and leadership teams.

  • Own the operational handoff from closed-won to customer success, ensuring a seamless onboarding experience and clean data transfer.

  • Partner with leadership on contract renewals, amendments, and revenue-impacting changes to existing customer agreements.

Qualifications:
  • 1-3 years of experience in Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, or a related role with exposure to deal desk, commissions, or revenue reporting.

  • Hands-on experience with HubSpot CRM with a strong grasp of opportunity management and pipeline reporting.

  • Strong proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, commission modeling) is required.

  • Experience with deal desk and revenue tools. Familiarity with our stack is a strong plus: HubSpot, Revolear, QuotaPath, DocuSign, Gong, and Ramp.

  • Proficiency with AI tools is required, not a nice-to-have. We expect you to already be using AI daily to automate workflows, streamline reporting, and eliminate manual work.

  • High attention to detail with a track record of accuracy in data-heavy, process-driven work.

  • Demonstrated ability to operate with autonomy, navigate ambiguity, and deliver results in a fast-paced startup environment.

What We Offer:
  • Competitive compensation with a salary range of $80,000-$110,000 (placement within range based on experience and qualifications).

  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits.

  • Opportunity to grow and advance within a rapidly scaling AI startup based in San Francisco, CA.

  • Direct exposure to sales and executive leadership with visibility into how a high-growth company manages and scales its revenue.

  • Supportive, low-ego team culture focused on innovation, speed, and customer impact.
