The Opportunity:

The Risk Authentication Strategy Advisor role centers on enhancing and supporting authentication processes and services to meet evolving risk demands and optimize business operations. The incumbent will collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to drive innovation and maintain industry-leading authentication performance and experience standards. The role involves leading efforts to consolidate and present overall risk authentication team performance KPIs to senior leadership, as well as analyzing data and industry trends to identify risks and opportunities within authentication channels. Additionally, the advisor will act as an incubator for new product solutions, driving the development and implementation of innovative authentication technologies. This involves piloting new ideas, integrating them into existing systems, and ensuring they meet top security and efficiency standards.

Day in the Life:

  • Support the enhancement and development of new and existing authentication services and solutions to improve performance and user experience.

  • Analyze data and industry trends to identify risks and opportunities within authentication channels.

  • Contribute to strategic initiatives aimed at strengthening authentication strategies and mitigating risks effectively.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure alignment of authentication strategies with business objectives and client requirements.

  • Monitor and assess the effectiveness of authentication processes and recommend enhancements as needed.

  • Partner with internal stakeholders and external partners to optimize authentication channels and processes.

  • Leading efforts to consolidate and present overall risk authentication performance through comprehensive KPIs and detailed reports.

  • Serve as a lead on key initiatives proactively solving issues, providing expertise, and continuously planning and driving action between the organization’s current and future states to ensure efficient and timely completion. 

  • Pinpoint and address core issues within business processes for process improvement initiatives and make actionable recommendations. 

  • Perform other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in risk management, operations, or strategy within the fintech or financial services industry, with a focus in authentication channels.

  • Strong understanding of authentication technologies, protocols, and best practices.

  • Proven ability to analyze complex data and trends to drive strategic decision-making.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

Pay Equity

$84,900.00 - $108,200.00

Actual Pay will be adjusted based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
