* The Rubrik Business Development Manager for Healthcare is responsible for accelerating growth within the Healthcare segment by driving adoption of Rubrik's data security and resilience solutions across healthcare organizations. This individual will identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, foster strategic partnerships, and deepen customer relationships in a highly regulated, mission-critical industry.
* What you will do
* Partner with CDW and Rubrik sales teams to uncover and close high-impact opportunities in the healthcare vertical- focusing on data security, cyber recovery, and compliance.
* Enable and educate CDW sales teams and healthcare-focused specialists on Rubrik's solutions and how they address industry-specific challenges like ransomware protection, HIPAA compliance, and ePHI data backup.
* Define and prioritize strategic accounts within the provider, payer, and public sector healthcare ecosystem.
* Collaborate with Rubrik and CDW stakeholders to shape go-to-market strategies aligned to healthcare industry trends and demand generation campaigns.
* Act as a trusted advisor to sales teams by aligning Rubrik's data security solutions with key healthcare business drivers, including cyber insurance, HITECH compliance, and operational resilience.
* Build strong cross-functional relationships with healthcare customers, including CIOs, CISOs, CTOs, compliance officers, procurement leaders, and IT directors.
* Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) during customer calls, presentations, and executive briefings related to data resilience, backup/recovery modernization, and secure cloud adoption.
* Track and forecast the opportunity pipeline specific to the healthcare segment and communicate progress and strategy to CDW and Rubrik leadership.
* Monitor and analyze customer buying patterns, healthcare IT trends, and regulatory pressures to identify growth opportunities and refine sales strategy.
* Coordinate legal and financial pre-sales processes (NDAs, teaming agreements) to ensure readiness ahead of formal procurement/RFP events.
* What we expect of you
* Minimum Basic Requirements
* Bachelor's degree or six years of work experience in a technical sales/marketing/business development role
* 6+ years of customer-facing technical sales/marketing/business development experience ideally with healthcare clients.
* Deep understanding of healthcare IT buying cycles and common stakeholders across provider/payer organizations.
* Strong ability to build trust and credibility with sales teams and leadership across partner and client organizations.
* Proven track record of identifying, developing, and closing opportunities in complex, regulated environments.
* Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence decision-makers at all levels.
* Strong analytical and critical thinking capabilities with a problem-solving mindset.
* Demonstrated success working independently while managing multiple initiatives across teams.
* Comfort with presenting to technical and non-technical audiences, including executive leadership.
* Travel up to 25% required. Preferred skills, experience, and qualities needed
* Experience working with data security, cloud, or backup solutions is highly preferred.
* Healthcare experience preferred
