Your Impact

As the Regional Vice President (RVP) of Commercial Sales, you will:

• Lead and inspire a team of Commercial Account Executives to achieve and exceed revenue targets.

• Develop and execute regional sales strategies aligned with Illumio’s growth objectives.

• Drive pipeline generation through strategic planning, coaching, and collaboration with marketing and channel partners.

• Foster strong relationships with key customers and prospects, positioning Illumio as a trusted advisor in Zero Trust Segmentation.

• Ensure accurate forecasting, territory planning, and performance reporting to senior leadership.

• Champion a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement within your team.

Your Toolkit

• Develop and implement a comprehensive (highly partner leveraged) sales strategy to achieve revenue targets within the mid-market segment

• Lead, mentor, and manage mid-market sales leaders and teams, setting clear objectives and providing coaching and support to drive results

• Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to refine and adapt our sales approach, product pricing and packaging to accelerate sales

• Develop playbooks and go-to-market sales motion specific to the mid-market segment to maximize short- and long-term revenue

• Work with marketing to develop partner driven mid market focused campaigns to help us drive needed amount of pipeline to achieve our sales targets.

• Oversee the sales pipeline, providing guidance on lead generation, qualification, and conversion and ensure effective management and progression of opportunities

• Establish and nurture strong relationships with key mid-market clients, serving as a strategic point of contact, understanding when your involvement within a sales cycle is necessary to further opportunities

• Establish and develop sales and SE relationships with mid market focused partners to get them to invest in training their teams and driving additional Illumio sales.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure client satisfaction, retention, and growth across sales, customer success/support, enablement, and marketing

• Develop and implement training programs, sales tools, and resources to enhance the effectiveness of the midmarket sales team and shorten time to productivity

• Generate regular reports and provide insights into sales performance and market dynamics to leadership to influence sales strategy

• Utilize data and analysis to make informed decisions and drive revenue growth

• This position is a nationwide role requiring approximately 50% travel.

• Experience selling cybersecurity solutions or network security products.

• Background in scaling sales teams in high-growth environments.

• Strong executive presence and ability to engage C-level stakeholders.

• Knowledge of partner ecosystems and channel sales strategies.
