Support logistics and engineering issues for the US Space Forces by analyzing logistics, coordinating meetings, and managing readiness programs.
Delta Solutions and Strategies is seeking a highly skilled and motivated candidate to join a high-performance team to support United States Space Forces Space (S4S) at Vandenberg Space Force Base, California. This position is supporting S4S missions through analysis and resolution of logistics and engineering issues, providing professional advice to commanders and staff, supporting development of capabilities through JOPES execution, and integrating logistics and engineering requirements into the S4S planning cycle.
What you will be doing:
- Provide readiness assessment support for joint mission essential tasks in support of defense readiness reporting, assist in establishing and maintaining a comprehensive readiness reporting program
- Assist the Government in developing and maintaining JMETLs IAW the CJCS UJTL, review/validate/synthesize readiness reporting information, develop and provide critical readiness products and schedule, coordinate and execute supported meetings
- Provide logistics analysis and logistics SME support to OPLAN and TPFDD development
- Assist in developing support to space operations and integration, creating and participating in CAP, and developing, and maintaining support agreements
- Provide logistics analysis, synchronize joint supply activities IAW JP 4.0, track the S4S supply chain, identify and provide visibility of material moving through the distribution pipeline using ITV, research and analyze component command logistics standards and policies.
- Assist the S4 in standing up and running JOPES. Provide oversight and facilitation of all subordinate components, service components. Joint Task Forces JOPES POCs for deployment and employment of OPCON’d and TACON’d, assigned and allocated Forces as a key member of the JPEC.
- As a Logistics SME on S4 behalf, schedule and coordinate meeting, agendas, and read-ahead materials
- Provide limited admin support including preparing and reviewing internal/external documents and managing assigned taskings using the TMT on NIPRNet and SIPRNet.
What you will need:
- Logistics directorate experience at the Component, Combatant Command or Joint Staff levels (G4, S4, or J4, etc.)
- Knowledge of Global Command and Control System (GCCS) automated tools such as JOPES and DCAPES and deployment/redeployment tactics, techniques and procedures
- Knowledge of Global Force Management and Operations Planning
- Ability to analyze situations and make well informed recommendations
- Excellent communicator and effective team member
- Ability to present briefings, discuss and coordinate problems and recommend solutions
- Expertise with Microsoft Office suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in a logistics-related discipline or 10-15+ years relevant combination of education, professional training such as military Logistics coursework/certifications and work experience
- Required: Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility

In compliance with California Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this position is $155,000-$180,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
