SMX is seeking a motivated and experienced SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Developer to join our innovative Solutions team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and implementing robust budget planning,  and reporting solutions for our federal government clients. This role involves collaborating with diverse groups of functional and technical subject matter experts to deliver high-quality, impactful SAC solutions that meet complex client needs. You will work in a supportive, team-oriented environment where knowledge sharing and mentorship are key to our collective success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate business and functional requirements from senior consultants and business analysts into detailed technical specification documents.
  • Design, build, test, and deploy best-in-class SAC solutions, including data models, advanced stories, and analytical applications.
  • Develop and implement complex calculations, data actions, and business logic using JavaScript and other SAC-native features.
  • Configure customer demos and translate requirements into working functionality.
  • Participate in testing and defect resolution during implementation.
  • Collaborate with the solution architect and data integration team on design and data

Required Skills & Experience 

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of hands-on development experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Planning.
  • Overall experience of 5+ years in designing and building Budgeting Planning & Reporting solutions.
  • Proven expertise in SAC Data Modeling, creating Stories, and building Analytical Applications.
  • Proficiency in scripting with JavaScript within the SAC environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration with internal technical and functional teams.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with high attention to detail.

The SMX salary determination process takes into account a number of factors, including but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories, relevant prior work experience, specific skills, education and certifications. The proposed salary for this position is:
$70,000$180,000 USD
