The Account Executive drives sales of iCareManager's EHR solution to organizations serving individuals with IDD, managing leads and achieving sales goals.

This is a remote position.

You will sell an EHR platform that hundreds of provider organizations across 30+ states already run their operations on, into a market that is still full of paper, spreadsheets, and legacy systems. The product wins when it gets in front of the right people. Your job is to get it in front of the right people.

About iCM

Since 2011, iCareManager has built the operating system for organizations serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). Our platform covers EHR, eMAR, billing, documentation, and compliance for IDD/DDA residential providers, ICFs, behavioral health organizations, Adult Day Programs, Employment Agencies, and Assisted living entities. We are HIPAA compliant, SOC 2 Type II certified, and we are shipping AI products (eMAR.ai, iddbilling.ai, emrgen.ai, LIFEPlan.ai) faster than anyone else in this vertical.

What you will own
  • A territory and a number. Quarterly and annual sales targets for new provider organizations in your assigned region. You will meet them, and we will pay you well when you exceed them.
  • The full sales cycle. Prospecting, discovery, virtual demos (Zoom, Teams, Google Meet), in-person meetings at conferences, negotiation, and close.
  • A serious conference presence. 25 to 35 conferences a year. You will help pick them, work the floor, and host regional dinner programs with executive directors, administrators, nurses, and IT leaders.
  • Your own pipeline engine. Cold outreach, referrals, market data, CRM, and social media. You build the machine, you run it, and you report on it bi-weekly to the Director of Sales, COO, and CFO with wins, losses, and what you learned.
  • Clean hand-offs. You coordinate with Customer Success, Implementation, and Product so every new customer starts strong.
Why this role, right now
  • A category with real tailwinds. States are pushing IDD providers toward digital documentation and electronic billing, and most providers have not modernized yet.
  • A product that demos itself. Purpose-built for this vertical, not a generic EHR with a module bolted on.
  • AI you can actually sell. Live AI products launched in 2026 give you a story no competitor in this space can match.
  • Direct access to leadership. You report into a tight sales org where the COO and CFO read your pipeline reviews. Good ideas travel fast here.

  • Consultative seller: you diagnose before you pitch
  • Organized and self-directed: you manage your own calendar, travel, and follow-ups without being chased
  • Clear writer and speaker
  • Comfortable with regular travel, including overnights and occasional weekends for conferences
  • Fluent with Zoom, Teams, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Google Calendar, Asana, and CRM tools (HubSpot)
