General Summary:  

The Sales and Marketing Associate role is an entry-level, development-focused position designed as part of the company’s Sales Launchpad Program. This role blends core responsibilities of the Account Strategist and Sales & Marketing Partner positions, providing structured training and hands-on experience across both sales’ execution and marketing engagement.

 

Participants in this role will build foundational skills in consultative selling, customer engagement, pipeline development, and marketing solution support while receiving coaching, mentorship, and formal training. The Sales and Marketing Associate role is intended to prepare individuals for future placement into roles such as Account Strategist, Sales & Marketing Partner, or other sales- and marketing-focused positions.

 

Essential Job Functions: *

  1. Respond to inbound customer inquiries via calls, interactions, and chats
  2. Establish and maintain rapport with B2B prospects and customers provided by the company
  3. Support account expansion and renewal efforts through consultative sales techniques
  4. Understand client needs and pain points to identify upselling and expansion opportunities
  5. Assist with customer onboarding, product adoption, and retention efforts
  6. Present targeted marketing and product solutions aligned to customer goals
  7. Assist in developing proposals, sales presentations, and customer-facing materials

  9. Support go-to-market initiatives and promotional campaigns
  10. Assist in developing proposals, sales presentations, and customer-facing materials
  11. Partner cross-functionally to ensure alignment between sales and marketing efforts

  3. Foundational understanding of sales and marketing concepts
  4. Ability to build rapport and trust with prospects and customers
  5. Strong time management and prioritization skills

 

Education, Experience, and Certification: *

  1. Bachelor’s degree preferred
  2. 0–2 year of job or internship experience in inside sales, account management, marketing, or customer experience (preferred, not required)
  3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office; strong Excel skills preferred
  4. Experience with CRM systems preferred
