We are looking for a full-time Sales Assistant to join our team. 

*This position is located onsite and is not a remote or hybrid position.


Job Requirements/Qualifications:

  • See that every customer experience meets quality standards as defined by the 
    customer.
  • Handle all incoming and outgoing customer telephone calls in a courteous and 
    professional manner. May solicit orders from existing customer base.
  • Coordinate the prompt handling of all customer service requests including, but 
    not limited to, order entry, pricing, expediting, billing, credit and claims.
  • Ensure timely responses to customers.
  • Take an active role in selling Company goods and services on both inbound 
    and outbound calls.
  • Participate in quality improvement teams in an effort to limit rework and 
    improve services and efficiency.
  • Handle all written correspondence received from/sent to customers in a timely 
    manner.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Providing assistance to management team members and executives as needed
  • Creating and processing sales in a timely manner
  • Reporting any unusual activity to supervisors
  • Expediting requests rush orders and altering sales orders and shipping information as required

Knowledge, Skill, and Experience

Minimum Education (or substitute experience required):

High school graduate or equivalent


Minimum experience required:

Two years or more of progressive customer service or related 
 

Skills required:

Skills: Broad knowledge of company's products and services with the ability to effectively present these to the Company's customers. Ability to handle a variety of customer situations with enthusiasm and tact; demonstrable skill at handling and resolving customer complaints; excellent 
communications skills; and ability to work with all levels of employees and management.

Computer literacy: In addition to data entry and typing, Sales Assistants need to have knowledge of basic spreadsheet and word processing creation software.

Time management and organization: These professionals use a variety of organization methods, including calendar management, to handle multiple projects at one time and completing tasks efficiently and quickly.

Customer service: Sales assistant should have strong professional conversation etiquette, especially in person and over the phone when interacting with company representatives, clients and customers.

Communication: Clear communication and the ability to explain concepts in simple terms are used to help the customer work through problems and accurately describe products.

Problem-solving: These professionals should be able to use critical and creative thinking to identify and resolve issues with products and orders.
