Macmillan is seeking an Associate to join the Special Markets Sales team. Reporting to the Custom Sales Manager, the Associate will be responsible for supporting custom sales projects for the entire team, tracking and managing subscription box orders and requests, and ensuring deadlines are met. Our ideal candidate has 1-3 years of trade publishing experience and is highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task across multiple projects. Custom publishing is a plus.
What You'll Do:
- Support Special Markets managers in end-to-end workflow of custom sales projects
- Regular communication with accounts, publishers, order entry team, and customer service for subscription box orders
- Organized tracking of subscription box licensing projects
- Creating title collections and sending newsletter blasts to accounts
- New account research and outreach
What You'll Bring:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office & Google Suite
- Strong project management skills
- Extremely organized and detailed
- Skilled in verbal and written communication
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects at once and prioritize across tasks
- Ability to work with a variety of team members and departments across Macmillan
- Minimum 1-3 years of trade publishing experience
- Custom Publishing experience is a plus
- Bachelor’s Degree
The salary range for the role is $58,000-$60,000.
