Reddit’s Strategic Finance team is seeking a Sr. Sales Commissions Analyst who will report directly to the Manager of Sales Comissions and be responsible for managing, analyzing, and optimizing the sales commission processes. This role involves developing and maintaining commissions plans, ensuring accurate and timely payout of commissions, and providing analytical support to drive sales performance. The successful candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with sales, finance, accounting, and human resources teams. Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the end-to-end process of calculating and distributing sales commissions and ensuring accuracy and timeliness of variable payouts.
  • Collect and maintain accurate sales performance data to support commissions calculations and reporting.
  • Ensure timely and accurate commissions payouts, addressing any discrepancies or payout inquiries effectively.
  • Calculate and manage monthly and quarterly commissions accruals, ensuring accurate financial reporting. 
  • Collaborate closely with sales, finance, and HR to ensure alignment on commissions plans and policies. 
  • Evaluate and drive continuous improvements on the commissions processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy. 
  • Provide training and support to sales teams regarding the incentive compensation plans and related commissions processes. 

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in sales commission processing, compensation administration or related field.
  • Proven track record of managing and optimizing compensation plans and processes. 
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce and G Suite, with the ability to leverage these tools to streamline processes and workflows.
  • Familiarity with basic Revenue Accounting principles 
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality in all aspects of work.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.

In addition to base salary, this job is eligible to receive equity in the form of restricted stock units, and depending on the position offered, it may also be eligible to receive a commission. The base pay range for this position is:

$140,800$197,100 USD
