JOB SUMMARY:
The Sales Coordinator will be people-oriented, highly motivated and a self-starter who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This position will be responsible for assisting the Regional Sales Support Manager and leading ad hoc quote requests. The Sales Coordinator will be responsible for outputting internal/external quotes and capturing the win/loss ratios by logging the feedback results in the system. Additionally, the Sales Coordinator will utilize organizational resources to quote while ensuring timely responsiveness to ensure KPI adherence.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Utilize JAS approved organizational resources for all quote operations

  • Design and deliver quotes for our clients; both internal and external

  • Ensure compliance within the Company Sales Policy

  • Monitor and review quote logs for win/loss ratio to drive business conversion

  • Provide stakeholder guidance during client implementation of business

  • Assist Regional Sales Support Manager on other tasks that may be assigned while meeting deadlines

  • Ensure adherence to established productivity standards, KPIs and success ratios set by sales leadership

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience working in a sales-oriented role.

  • Must have operational experience in freight forwarding or logistics – handling air and/or ocean shipments.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerBI.

  • Cargowise knowledge is a plus.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills

  • Excellent organizational skills

  • Excellent written and verbal skills

  • Detail oriented, able to multitask and meet deadlines

  • Knowledge of all regulatory (i.e., Customs) law, practices, and procedures

  • Self-motivated, able to work in a team and independently

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Strong analytical skills - proficiency in MS Excel.  

  • Experience working in a sales-oriented role

  • Experience working in logistics-oriented role

  • High school diploma required

  • College degree or equivalent experience preferred

  • Extra languages a plus

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

100% performed in climate-controlled internal office environment working under normal office conditions.   Travel will be (up to 10%) required in support of the position’s responsibilities.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; stand; walk; use hands and finger to feel and handle; reach with arms and hands; talk and hear.  While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently is required to stoop, kneel, and crouch; lift weight or exert a force up to a maximum of 25 pounds.
