Mortgage Cadence is transforming the mortgage technology landscape with modern, cloud-based lending solutions powered by Agentic AI. We are seeking a highly driven and consultative Sales Development Representative to help expand adoption of the Mortgage Cadence Platform (MCP) across banks, credit unions, independent mortgage banks (IMBs), and other mortgage originators.

In this customer-facing role, you will own and support the full sales cycle for both MCP Essentials and MCP Enterprise, acting as a trusted advisor to prospective clients while partnering closely with internal sales, solutions engineering, implementation, and customer success teams. You will bridge the gap between complex mortgage lending challenges and Mortgage Cadence’s technology platform, translating technical capabilities into measurable business value for lenders.

This role requires a combination of strong mortgage industry expertise, enterprise software sales experience, and the ability to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder engagements. You will lead discovery conversations, support tailored demonstrations and Proof-of-Concept initiatives, contribute to strategic account planning, and represent Mortgage Cadence at industry events and conferences.

Sales & Customer Engagement
  • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting through close for new MCP Essentials and Enterprise opportunities.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of net-new business opportunities across banks, credit unions, IMBs, and mortgage lenders.
  • Develop trusted advisor relationships with executive, operational, and technical stakeholders.
  • Conduct discovery sessions to understand customer pain points, operational workflows, compliance requirements, and strategic goals.
  • Position Mortgage Cadence solutions by clearly articulating both technical capabilities and business outcomes.
  • Lead and support tailored product demonstrations, workshops, and solution presentations alongside Solutions Strategists and technical teams.
  • Manage complex enterprise sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders and long-term strategic account planning.
Technical & Solution Consulting
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for solution-related discussions throughout the sales process.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to design tailored solution approaches that align with lender operational and regulatory needs.
  • Support Proof-of-Concept (POC), pilot, and evaluation engagements with prospective customers.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of MCP Essentials, MCP Enterprise, mortgage workflows, integrations, APIs, and AI-powered automation capabilities.
  • Effectively communicate the value of Agentic AI features, workflow automation, and operational efficiencies to both business and technical audiences.
Market & Industry Leadership
  • Maintain current knowledge of the mortgage technology ecosystem, LOS platforms, regulatory trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Represent Mortgage Cadence at industry conferences, trade shows, and customer events including MBA and regional mortgage industry events.
  • Leverage existing industry relationships and partnerships to generate pipeline and expand market presence.
  • Provide market feedback, customer insights, and competitive intelligence to Product, Marketing, and Leadership teams.
Pipeline & Forecast Management
  • Accurately manage pipeline activity, opportunity progression, forecasting, and CRM updates.
  • Develop strategic account plans and maintain visibility into sales performance and revenue expectations.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Implementation, Customer Success, Product, and Marketing teams to support customer acquisition and long-term success.

RequirementsRequired Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in enterprise software sales, presales engineering, solutions consulting, or customer-facing roles within mortgage technology, fintech, or related industries.
  • Strong understanding of the mortgage production lifecycle including origination, processing, underwriting, closing, and post-closing.
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles with financial institutions or mortgage lenders.
  • Proven track record of closing large enterprise software deals and managing long sales cycles effectively.
  • Existing network within the mortgage origination ecosystem including lenders, consultants, technology partners, and industry organizations.
  • Ability to engage and communicate effectively with both executive leadership and technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Experience working with banks, credit unions, IMBs, or other regulated financial institutions.
  • Familiarity with CRM management, pipeline forecasting, and strategic account planning.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings, conferences, and industry events.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Direct experience with Loan Origination Systems (LOS), mortgage technology platforms, POS systems, PPE solutions, CRM tools, eClose platforms, or related technologies.
  • Experience supporting technical product demonstrations, workshops, or POC engagements.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based platforms, APIs, integrations, and AI-driven automation solutions.
  • Understanding of mortgage compliance, regulatory workflows, and vendor review processes within financial institutions.
  • Active involvement in mortgage banking or financial services industry organizations such as MBA, CUNA, or NAFCU.
