Lead and scale a global SDR organization: hire, train, coach, and manage SDRs across inbound/outbound and segment motions; own tech stack, playbooks, reporting, and AI adoption; align with Sales and Marketing to drive pipeline and continuous improvement.

Specright is the first purpose-built, patented platform for Specification Management. Whether it's packaging, raw materials, formulas, products, or machines, Specright helps companies digitize, map, and take action across their supply chain to reduce costs, increase profitability, and drive sustainability. Specright serves customers across industries, including packaging, food and beverage, consumer packaged goods, pharmaceutical, retail, industrials, and more.

Specright is looking for a Sales Development Manager to lead and scale our global Sales Development organization across segments and geographies. This is an ideal role for an emerging sales leader who has already run an SDR team and is ready for a broader mandate — one where AI adoption and process innovation are core to how we win.

Responsibilities

  • Hire, train, coach, and manage a global team of SDRs across inbound, outbound, enterprise, and strategic segments; set segment-specific pipeline KPIs and build onboarding/ramp programs.

  • Own the SDR tech stack and playbooks (scripts, sequences, qualification criteria) and continuously refine them; champion adoption of AI and automation tools, measuring impact on pipeline quality and rep productivity.

  • Develop distinct outbound/inbound strategies by buyer segment (SMB through enterprise/strategic); partner with Sales leadership on territory and account segmentation.

  • Align with Marketing on funnel management, campaigns, and messaging; partner with AEs and Sales leadership on SAO handoff and lead-quality feedback loops.

  • Own SDR reporting and dashboards; use data to identify funnel bottlenecks and drive continuous improvement.

  • Build a high-energy, accountable team culture rooted in continuous learning and experimentation with new tools and ways of working.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of direct SDR leadership/management experience; 4+ years total experience in a sales-related role (SDR, AE, Sales ops, or similar).

  • Experience supporting or managing SDRs across inbound, outbound, enterprise, and strategic motions strongly preferred; global/multi-region experience a plus.

  • Working knowledge of Salesforce, Outreach, ZoomInfo, and Nooks (or equivalent technologies)

  • Demonstrated use of AI tools to improve SDR productivity (lead scoring, sequencing, conversational AI) — be ready to speak to specific tools or workflows you've implemented.

  • Comfortable evaluating and piloting new sales technology without waiting for a perfect process.

  • Strong communication and coaching skills; ramps new reps quickly and builds repeatable systems (playbooks, cadences) over relying on individual heroics.

  • Pivots strategy as the business and tech stack evolve; questions whether manual processes need to exist at all.

  • Operates independently: identifies gaps before they're flagged, and brings solutions rather than just observations

We are an energetic company with an entrepreneurial, informal, versatile, intelligent, and fast-paced culture. We are a 100% remote company and promote an open and relatively flat organization with an emphasis on collaboration, sharing ideas, and information. It's more important to innovate than to worry about making mistakes.

Specright is an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
