Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated, full-time Sales Development Representative (SDR) to accelerate pipeline growth and support our revenue goals. This role is focused on top-of-funnel pipeline creation and is critical to increasing outbound volume, improving speed-to-lead, and enabling our sales reps to focus on closing and advancing qualified opportunities.  

While reporting to the Director of Marketing, the SDR will partner closely with the New Business sales reps to generate qualified meetings through outbound prospecting, inbound follow-up, and strategic lead re-engagement.  

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment and wants to build a strong foundation in B2B healthcare sales. Must be accustomed to maintaining a high-volume call environment and have experience navigating gatekeepers for enterprise-level sales success. 
 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Prospecting & Lead Generation  

  • Proactively generate qualified sales meetings through outbound calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach. 

  • Execute structured outbound campaigns targeting priority industries, accounts, and territories. 

  • Follow up on inbound leads, gated content, webinars, and marketing campaigns with urgency and personalization.  

  • Re-engage formant, recycled, or previously unresponsive leads to uncover new opportunities.  

  • Qualify prospects using defined ICP criteria before handling off to sales reps.  

  • Attend occasional tradeshows to help manage lead traffic and engage attendees for meetings. 

 Sales Execution & Collaboration 

  • Partner closely with New Business reps to align outreach with territory priorities.  

  • Schedule high-quality discovery meetings and ensure proper context is captured for handoff.  

  • Maintain accurate lead and activity tracking in Salesforce.  

  • Provide feedback to Sales and Marketing on messaging, objections, and market trends.  

Operational Excellence 

  • Meet or exceed weekly activity metrics (calls, emails, LinkedIn touches). 

  • Maintain clean CRM hygiene, including lead status updates and detailed activity notes. 

  • Participate in weekly pipeline, performance, and coaching reviews.  

  • Continuously refine outreach messaging and sequencing based on performance data.  

Success Metrics 

  • Qualified meetings booked and held per week/month. 

  • Pipeline generated (sourced or influenced). 

  • Conversion rates( lead → meeting → opportunity). 

  • Speed-to-lead for inbound inquiries.  

Qualifications

Education and Experience 

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent. 

  • 1-3 years experience in sales development, business development, or outbound prospecting required.  

  • Familiarity with tools like ZoomInfo, Outreach.io, ChiliPiper, Salesforce (or other CRMs), and LinkedIn.  

  • Experience supporting SMB, Mid-Market, or Enterprise sales teams preferred.  

Skills and Competencies  

  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. 

  • Comfort with high-volume outbound activity (calls, emails, LinkedIn). 

  • Positive attitude and self-motivated for success. 

  • Understanding of how to reach decision-makers by navigating gatekeepers. 

  • Coachable, resilient, and motivated by goals and metrics.  

  • Must be able to demonstrate the ability of maintaining privacy and confidentiality.  

  • Strong critical thinking skills; problem solving, and decision making.  

  • Must have the ability to gather data, compile information and prepare reports.  

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, with attention to detail and accuracy.  

  • Ability to create and edit written materials.  

  • Ability to communicate effectively to a variety of audiences.  

  • Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities.  

  • Demonstrate cooperative behavior with colleagues, supervisors and clients. 

  • Strong time management, organizational, and follow-through skills. 

  • Ability to meet and exceed daily and weekly individual performance goals. 

  • Ability to work independently as well as assisting other team members when needed. 

  • Requires regular and predictable attendance and punctuality.  

Computer Skills  

  • Must be competent in the Windows operating system environment, Adobe Professional, Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and learn other software as needed. 

Physical Demands  

  • Requires sitting for long periods of time, working at a desk.  

  • Some bending and stretching could be required.  

  • Working under stress and use of computer/phone required.  

  • Manual dexterity required for use of computer keyboard.  

  • Occasionally may be required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel and/or crouch.  

  • May occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.  

Work Environment 

  • Work Environment must be free from background noise and distraction, noise level is acceptable, temperature is controlled. At home set up must meet all Company IT, privacy and safety requirements.  

This position has an annual base salary range of $50,000 - $60,000 plus uncapped variable compensation tied to meetings booked and pipeline generated (OTE $75,000 - $90,000).
