Your mission
Reporting into the Senior Manager - EMEA Field Marketing, you will play a crucial role in the sales process by prospecting, qualifying, and generating opportunities to support the overall growth of the business.
What you'll achieve
  • Generate new sales opportunities through inbound management and outbound outreach (calls, email, use of Salesforce CRM and other enablement software)
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market and identify the needs of prospects, and suggest appropriate products or services
  • Developing sales outreach strategies to draw in potential buyers or to solicit new potential customers.
  • Creating relationships with customers to identify their potential needs and qualify their interests and viability to drive sales.
  • Presenting product information to customers once you have identified their needs.
  • Partner with Field Sales Executives, providing them with a volume of qualified leads to drive through to successful sales opportunities

Requirements
All experience is valid, but to be best set for success we see you bringing:
  • 1-3 years experience within an inside sales or volume sales environment, ideally with technical, scientific or software product
  • OR
  • Technical knowledge of Bioinformatics, Diagnostic sequencing or Genomics and an active interest to move into a commercial/sales role

  • You'll need to be fluent in English and in German (Full working proficiency) . Further language fluency in French or another European language is highly valuable, but not a requirement.
  • You will also be an excellent communicator, comfortable engaging with new individuals, listening to needs and quickly build relationships
  • Organisation is key, and you will be able to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast and methodical manner.
  • Previous exposure to CRM or Business Software (I.e. HubSpot, Salesforce, ZoomInfo) is really useful, but as long as you bring computer literacy (Outlook, Word etc) everything is coachable
