About the Role

Unison Infrastructure is seeking a driven, resilient, and highly motivated Sales Development Representative to join our Denver team.

This is a prospecting-heavy role focused on generating new business through high-volume outbound activity. You will be responsible for identifying target prospects, conducting research, initiating conversations, qualifying opportunities, and setting meetings for the Account Executive team.

This role is ideal for someone who is competitive, coachable, comfortable with outreach, and eager to build a long-term career in sales. High-performing SDRs will be eligible for promotion to Account Executive within 8–12 months, based on performance, readiness, and business needs.

Key Responsibilities

You will own top-of-funnel outbound prospecting across assigned territories and target accounts. This includes researching prospects, making outbound calls, scheduling appointments, sending personalized emails, using LinkedIn and other channels, and consistently creating new qualified opportunities.

You will engage decision-makers, uncover business needs, qualify interest, and schedule meetings for Account Executives. You will be expected to manage a disciplined daily cadence of outbound activity while maintaining accurate records in the CRM.

You will also partner closely with Account Executives and sales leadership to refine messaging, improve outreach strategy, and identify the highest-potential segments for new business development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute high-volume outbound prospecting through phone, email, LinkedIn, and other channels
  • Research target accounts, prospects, property owners, asset owners, and relevant decision-makers
  • Build and manage prospect lists within assigned territories or market segments
  • Qualify prospects based on fit, interest, need, timing, and opportunity potential
  • Set qualified meetings and discovery calls for Account Executives
  • Maintain accurate and timely activity, lead, and opportunity data in the CRM
  • Follow structured outreach cadences while tailoring messaging to each prospect
  • Collaborate with Account Executives to prioritize accounts and improve conversion rates
  • Learn Unison’s products, markets, customer profiles, and sales process
  • Consistently meet or exceed activity, appointment-setting, and pipeline generation goals
Qualifications

The ideal candidate is energized by outbound prospecting and motivated by measurable goals. You should be comfortable picking up the phone, following up persistently, and improving through coaching and feedback.

You do not need to be an industry expert on day one, but you should be curious, disciplined, organized, and willing to learn complex markets. This role requires someone who can combine high activity levels with thoughtful research and personalized outreach.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Based in or able to work in Denver, Colorado - Relocation assistance available
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfort with outbound calling, outbound email, and proactive prospecting
  • Competitive mindset and desire to build a career in sales
  • Strong organization, follow-through, and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage a high volume of activity and maintain CRM discipline
  • Coachability, resilience, and willingness to improve through feedback

Preferred:

  • 0–2+ years of SDR, BDR, sales, recruiting, real estate, customer-facing, or business development experience
  • Prior outbound prospecting or cold-calling experience
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, or similar tools
