About the Role
We are a young, funded startup already working with a large enterprise client, and we are hiring our first dedicated business development rep. This is a ground-floor role. You will not inherit a playbook or wait for marketing to hand you leads. Your job is to open doors: find the right people, get them on the phone, and book qualified meetings for our CEO and CTO to run.
We sell a cutting-edge Custom AI Intelligent Voice Assistant (IVA) solution to transportation software companies, NEMT providers, dispatch operations, fleet management, and inbound call centers. The market is wide open and the product is differentiated.
You bring the energy, the reps, and the persistence. We bring the product expertise and run the meetings you book. This is a phone-first prospecting role, and there is a clear path to more as you grow.
What You'll Own
Build and work your own pipeline. Identify targets, find the right decision-makers, and reach them across phone, email, and LinkedIn. We give you a starting list.
Run high-volume outbound outreach every day.
Hold short qualifying conversations to confirm a real fit before booking.
Book qualified meetings for our CEO and CTO, and set them up to win.
Help shape the outreach process, messaging, and playbook as we grow. Your feedback changes how we operate.
Compensation
Base salary of $48k to $60k depending on experience.
$250 for every qualified meeting that gets booked and held. This is the core of your upside and it starts week one.
Additional uncapped bonus each time a partner you sourced goes live and starts paying.
On-target earnings of $80k to $90k, with a clear path higher for top performers.
Equity opportunities for the right candidate.
What We're Looking For
A hungry self-starter who will pick up the phone and keep dialing.
Comfort with ambiguity and a genuine pull toward building something.
A confident, likable communicator who can open cold conversations and earn a few minutes of a busy person's time.
Resilient, coachable, and motivated by ownership and upside.
Based in Arizona and authorized to work in the U.S.
Nice to Have
Any outbound sales, SDR, or high-volume phone experience (retail, hospitality, call center, or service work counts).
Exposure to CRM tools like HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or VoIP systems.
Familiarity with NEMT, SaaS, fleet, transportation, or call center industries.
Tools You'll Use
Sales Navigator for prospecting, a corporate VoIP system for calls, Calendly for scheduling, and HubSpot Sales CRM for tracking.
Not a Fit If
You need marketing to supply your leads.
You need a structured team around you to stay motivated.
You are uncomfortable spending most of your day on the phone.
You are not based in Arizona or not authorized to work in the U.S.
We are an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
