What we're looking for
What we offer
SkyPilot accelerates the world's most ambitious AI teams. Every hour they spend fighting infrastructure is an hour the frontier doesn't move — so SkyPilot turns fragmented compute across clusters into one optimized, highly available and easy-to-use pool: a single AI supercomputer.
SkyPilot (10k+ GitHub stars, 14M+ downloads) is deployed at 100s of companies — from Fortune 500s to top AI-natives like Abridge, Applied Compute, Mistral, Unconventional AI, H Company, and Nubank — with usage growing exponentially. Born in the UC Berkeley lab behind Spark and Databricks, our growing team includes top-tier talent from Databricks, Google, Berkeley, MIT, CMU, and Cornell.
SkyPilot is used by some of the most advanced AI teams in the world. As one of our first Sales Development Representatives, you'll open the conversations that start critical relationships: reaching AI-native companies, foundation labs, and enterprises, and turning early interest into qualified meetings for our team. You're often the first person at SkyPilot a frontier AI team talks to, so you set the tone for everything that follows.
- Open the conversation: run outbound to AI-native companies, labs, and enterprises, and turn cold and inbound interest into qualified meetings for the Founding Account Executive.
- Learn the buyer: get fluent in who runs AI infrastructure, what they struggle with, and how SkyPilot helps — enough to earn a technical audience's time.
- Work the engine: use the sequences, lists, and tooling the growth team builds, and give the feedback that makes each next play sharper.
- Grow with the team: this is the front door to a GTM career at SkyPilot — strong SDRs grow into closing or growth roles as we scale.
What we're looking for
- Clear, credible written and verbal communication — you can earn a busy engineer's attention.
- Curious about AI and infrastructure, and willing to go deep enough to be taken seriously by technical buyers.
- Organized and resilient: you run a high-volume outbound process without letting things slip.
- Full of ownership: you want to help build the motion from the ground up.
- Competitive compensation
- Comprehensive medical, dental, vision coverage for you and your dependents
- The chance to work with some of the best minds in cloud, distributed, and AI systems — with significant autonomy and ownership.
- A front-row seat at the latest open-source infra startup from Berkeley (lineage: Databricks, Anyscale).
- Gourmet lunch & dinner for the team to do their best work
Location: San Mateo, CA. Remote will be considered for exceptional candidates.
