Job Summary
As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will be responsible for qualifying inbound leads and guiding them through the initial stages of the sales process. You will engage with potential customers, understand their needs, and assess how Civ Robotics' solutions can provide value. Your primary goal is to convert marketing-generated leads into sales-qualified opportunities and set up meetings for the business development team.
Responsibilities
- Respond to and qualify inbound leads generated from marketing campaigns, website inquiries, and conferences.
- Conduct initial discovery calls to understand prospects' needs, challenges, and potential fit for Civ Robotics' solutions.
- Utilize LinkedIn Sales Navigator and other tools to research and connect with potential clients in target industries.
- Send personalized LinkedIn messages and connection requests to engage prospects and generate interest.
- Nurture and follow up with leads to maintain engagement.
- Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to refine lead qualification criteria and optimize conversion rates.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of interactions with prospects in the CRM system (e.g., HubSpot).
- Stay up to date on industry trends and competitors to refine sales strategies.
- Meet or exceed monthly quotas for qualified leads and booked meetings.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in a sales development, customer success, or related role in B2B technology.
- Huge PLUS! Experience in Construction technology, Heavy civil / infrastructure, Surveying & geospatial, Heavy equipment, Renewable energy / solar EPC.
- Experience with HubSpot, Outreach, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator
- Self-motivated and results-oriented with a proactive approach to sales.
- Ability to handle objections professionally while maintaining persistence.
- Confident and proficient in cold calling, with strong business acumen in texting and other communication channels.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
