About the role

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) plays a critical role in fueling the growth of the SleepCharge business by identifying, engaging, and qualifying prospective employer clients and strategic partners. This role focuses on building the top of the sales pipeline by proactively prospecting new accounts, generating qualified meetings, and creating opportunities for the Regional Vice Presidents of Sales and broader commercial team.

The SDR will engage potential clients through strategic outreach including cold calling, email campaigns, social selling, and industry events. By initiating meaningful conversations with benefits leaders, HR executives, and healthcare decision makers, the SDR will uncover needs, position Nox Health’s value proposition, and transition qualified prospects into active opportunities within the sales pipeline.

Working as a key member of the SleepCharge business development team, the Sales Development Representative collaborates closely with marketing, consultant relations, sales leadership, analytics, client success, and operations to ensure a coordinated approach to prospect engagement and pipeline growth. Success in this role directly contributes to Nox Health’s ability to expand its market presence and deliver innovative sleep health solutions to employer populations.

The Sales Development Representative reports to the EVP, Employer sales as a core member of the SleepCharge business development team.


What you'll do

  • Own the top of the sales funnel by identifying and engaging prospective employer clients and strategic partners through outbound prospecting efforts.
  • Conduct strategic cold calling, email outreach, and social selling campaigns to generate new sales opportunities.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified prospects aligned with target employer segments and strategic verticals.
  • Research target organizations to identify key decision makers within Human Resources, Benefits, and Corporate Health leadership.
  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads to determine alignment with SleepCharge solutions and convert Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs) into pipeline opportunities.
  • Schedule and coordinate discovery meetings and introductory calls between qualified prospects and Sales.
  • Partner closely with marketing and lead generation teams to support campaigns and follow-up activities that drive engagement.
  • Track and manage all outreach activities, prospect interactions, and opportunity development within Salesforce.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of prospect engagement to ensure transparency of pipeline activity and forecasting.
  • Achieve and exceed established outreach, meeting generation, and pipeline creation targets.
  • Attend and participate in conferences, trade shows, and industry events to support lead generation and market presence
  • Continuously develop expertise in Nox Health’s solutions, the employer healthcare landscape, and emerging industry trends.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, consultant relations, analytics, and client success to support coordinated sales strategies.
  • Report weekly and monthly on pipeline development, prospect engagement, and progress toward lead generation goals.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree and/or 2+ years of highly successful outbound sales development or lead generation experience, within SaaS or B2B, with a proven track record of exceeding quotas. 
  • Exceptional communication skills: Your ability to craft persuasive emails and conduct compelling phone conversations is paramount. 
  • A true self-starter with an unwavering, results-driven mindset: You thrive on autonomy and possess a strong ability to manage your time and prioritize tasks to maximize outbound impact. 
  • Proficiency with Salesforce and other CRM tools to meticulously track your pipeline and performance. 
  • Expertise in leveraging sales tools and software, including Microsoft and Google office suite, Salesforce, Apollo, and Hubspot, to optimize your outbound efforts. 
  • The resilience and adaptability to not only thrive but excel in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Strong preference for experience selling services/products in to the benefits sector of large employers
  • A proven track record of continual learning and improvement throughout your career
  • Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
