As a Sales Development Representative, you will generate leads, qualify potential customers, and manage outreach efforts in the healthcare space to support the sales team.
The summary above was generated by AI

Healthcare is in crisis and the people behind the results deserve better. With more and more data coming from wearables, lab tests, and patient–doctor interactions, we’re entering an era where data is abundant.

Junction is building the infrastructure layer for diagnostic healthcare, making patient data accessible, actionable, and automated across labs and devices. Our mission is simple but ambitious: use health data to unlock unprecedented insight into human health and disease.

If you're passionate about how technology can supercharge healthcare, you’ll fit right in.

Backed by Creandum, Point Nine, 20VC, YC, and leading angels, we’re working to solve one of the biggest challenges of our time: making healthcare personalized, proactive, and affordable. We’re already connecting millions and scaling fast.

Short on time? TL;DR

You: A driven, early-career SDR with 1+ years of experience, motivated by hitting targets, owning pipeline, and growing fast in a high-impact environment

Us: A sales team of 5, you’ll be our 2nd SDR

Salary: $70K base + $30K commission / $100K (with an opportunity to overachieve your targets!) + equity

Location: New York City metro with two days per week in our co-working space for the first six months, then remotely from then on

Why we need you

Our go-to-market motion is working - now we need to scale it.

We’re already:

  • Streaming time-series data from 3M+ wearables every second

  • Powering 4M+ lab tests across all 50 states

  • Saving millions of patients thousands of dollars

Now we’re aiming even higher: going from 4 million lab tests to 40 million diagnostics in the next year.

As an early SDR, you’ll be at the front of that motion: identifying the right companies, reaching out in smart, creative ways, and turning interest into qualified conversations. You’ll join us as SDR #2 alongside Ryan, at a time when we’re investing heavily in growing our GTM teams to meet increasing demand.

You’ll be working across:

  • Digital health companies already scaling fast

  • Traditional healthcare organizations starting to modernize

  • New segments like EMRs and enterprise buyers

This is a high-ownership role where you’ll help define what great outbound and inbound looks like as we scale.

What you’ll be doing day to day

  • Finding and reaching out to potential new customers via email, LinkedIn and other tools

  • Qualifying these potential customers and providing useful context before setting up calls

  • Driving outbound efforts to make sure we have a steady flow of leads coming through

  • Running market research to understand industry news and potential new customers

  • Incorporating AI tools and automation into your workflow to get more done with less friction

  • Managing our customer relationship tool so all information is in one place

  • Sharing outbound and pipeline progress with the leadership team regularly

Who you are

  • 1-3 years of sales development experience, preferably in the healthcare or technology industries

  • A natural networker - you have a process to generate leads in whatever environment you've been working in

  • Proactive and persistent with ambitious goals

  • You get energy from understanding people’s needs and drivers

  • Writing concise, compelling outreach messages to break through the noise is your thing

  • You’re excited about our product and our mission - you want to make healthcare better

A plus if

  • You have experience in an early stage startup environment

  • You have experience generating leads for healthcare companies in the US

  • You know how to manage a sales funnel using different tools, bonus for your experience with Clay

How you'll be compensated

  • Salary: $70K base + $30K commission / $100K (with an opportunity to overachieve your targets!) + equity

  • Your salary is dependent on your location and experience level

  • Generous early stage options (extended exercise post 2 years employment)

  • Regular in-person offsites, last were in Tenerife and Miami

  • Monthly learning budget of $300 for personal development and productivity

  • Flexible, remote-first working - including $1K for home office equipment

  • Monthly budget of $150 to use towards a coworking space

  • 25 days off a year + national holidays

  • Healthcare coverage depending on location

Oh and before we forget:

  • Backend Stack: Python (FastAPI), Go, PostgreSQL, Google Cloud Platform (Cloud Run, GKE, Cloud BigTable, etc), Temporal Cloud

  • Frontend Stack: TypeScript, Next.js

  • API docs are here: https://docs.junction.com/

  • Company handbook is here with engineering values + principles

Important details before applying:

  • We only hire folks physically based in GMT and EST timezones - more information here

  • We do not sponsor visas right now given our stage
