About Azira

Azira is a location intelligence platform built for today’s data-driven teams, transforming mobile location signals into high-confidence, privacy-first insights. Our technology helps marketing, operations, and data leaders make smarter decisions, optimize performance, and drive measurable growth. From retailers and media agencies to destination marketers and real estate teams, we deliver trusted, validated insights rooted in real-world behavior—connecting the dots between where people go and how businesses can better reach, serve, and grow their audiences.

Why This Role Matters

We're looking for a highly motivated individual to join our Location Analytics sales team. You'll be responsible for selling our powerful location data and analytics solutions to businesses in the AdTech, consumer insights, retail, restaurant, real estate sectors, and more. This means helping clients optimize everything from site selection, data enrichment, and customer targeting, to foot traffic and property performance through data-driven insights. We need someone who deeply understands location analytics, can clearly communicate its value, and has a proven sales record in these industries. This role will report directly to our SVP, Sales and Strategic Partnerships.

What You’ll Do
  • Drive Sales Strategy & Growth: You'll develop and implement a robust sales plan to pinpoint new business opportunities among clients you will actively sell to, as well as work with your team to expand revenue from our current clients while finding net-new opportunities.
  • Generate High-Quality Leads: Proactively identify and engage potential clients by leveraging your network, conducting targeted research, attending industry events, and utilizing social media and other tools to build a strong pipeline.
  • Articulate Data's Value: Expertly present and demonstrate the clear value of our location data and analytics. This includes showcasing how our insights can transform customer behavior analysis, optimize site selection, analyze foot traffic, and provide crucial competitive benchmarking.
  • Solve Client Challenges: Engage deeply with clients to understand their unique business challenges. You'll then craft and propose tailored, data-driven solutions that directly improve their decision-making processes.
  • Cultivate Strong Relationships: Build and nurture long-term partnerships with key decision-makers, from C-suite executives to managers, ensuring high client satisfaction and driving both new sales and retention. Travel as needed to encourage, deepen, and expand new and existing client relationships.
  • Negotiate & Close Deals: Take ownership of the sales cycle, negotiating pricing, contracts, and terms to successfully close deals and consistently meet or exceed your quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Collaborate for Success: You will work hand-in-hand with our internal marketing, product development, and customer success teams. Your collaboration will ensure client satisfaction and contribute directly to developing solutions that meet market needs.
  • Stay Ahead of the Curve: Continuously monitor and understand the latest trends and developments within the AdTech, consumer insights, retail, restaurant, and real estate sectors, as well as advancements in location analytics technology and data applications.
What You’ll Bring
  • Academic Background: A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a relevant field is required; an MBA is a definite plus.
  • Sales Acumen: You'll have 5-7 years of progressive sales experience, specifically in data solutions, analytics platforms, or related technology. Prior experience with mobile location analytics or spatial data is highly desirable.
  • Sector-Specific Knowledge: An in-depth understanding of the AdTech, consumer insights, retail, restaurant, and real estate sectors is critical, including the key pain points and how location intelligence can unlock significant value.
  • Technical Communication: The capacity to comprehend and effectively explain intricate datasets, sophisticated analytics tools, and their practical application to business strategies, even to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Persuasive Skills: Outstanding presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities that foster strong client relationships.
  • Consistent Achiever: A documented history of consistently achieving or surpassing sales quotas in highly competitive sales landscapes.
  • Independent & Adaptable: Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills, capable of managing multiple priorities and thriving in a rapidly evolving sales environment.
  • Platform Proficiency: Familiarity with various location analytics platforms, data visualization tools (e.g., GIS software), and CRM systems, enabling you to craft comprehensive, multi-product solutions.

Why You’ll Love It Here
  • Competitive base salary: $140,000 - $150,000 with the ability to double this through the achievement of on-target earnings
  • Full health, dental, vision, and mental wellness benefits
  • Flexible, remote-friendly work environment
  • Big opportunity, small ego, high impact
  • A mission you can feel good about — and a team that makes the work fun
