About the role

We're looking for a Sales Engineer / Enterprise Sales Engineer to help the world's leading companies build location-powered products with Radar. You'll partner with enterprise customers to solve complex technical challenges, architect scalable solutions, and guide successful evaluations and deployments.

You'll work across Sales, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to win strategic customers, shape our product roadmap with real customer feedback, and play a key role in Radar's continued growth.

You'll report to our Vice President of Sales and Solutions Engineering and be based in our Flatiron (NYC) headquarters. We work from the office Monday through Thursday, with flexibility to work remotely on Fridays. You'll also travel for customer on-sites 1–3 times per quarter.

What you’ll do

  • Own the technical side of enterprise deals, from discovery through proof of concept and deployment, helping customers evaluate and adopt Radar.

  • Deliver compelling product demos and technical presentations tailored to everyone from engineering teams to executive stakeholders.

  • Become a trusted advisor on location technology, partnering with customers to solve complex technical challenges.

  • Work closely with Sales to develop solution strategies that accelerate deals and improve technical win rates.

  • Partner with Product and Engineering to bring customer feedback into the roadmap and shape the future of Radar's platform.

Who you are

  • 1+ years of experience in solutions engineering, sales engineering, or another customer-facing technical role at an enterprise SaaS or developer tools company.

  • Strong technical fundamentals and experience working with APIs, SDKs, or modern developer platforms.

  • Experience leading technical evaluations, proof of concepts, and solution design for enterprise customers.

  • An exceptional communicator who can build trust with both engineering teams and executive stakeholders.

  • Experience with location technology, mapping platforms, or mobile development is a plus.

  • Curious, collaborative, and excited to help customers solve complex technical challenges in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
