The Trimble AECO segment provides digital construction solutions that increase precision and productivity for Architecture, Engineering, Construction, and Operations.

What Makes This Role Great:

 In this role, you will be at the forefront of the structural steel fabrication industry, moving beyond the shop floor to shape how companies manage workflows using advanced BIM and Tekla Software Solutions. You will make a significant impact by acting as the key technical expert, turning complex process gaps into seamless business solutions, and directly influencing how steel fabricators throughout North America optimize their operations.

Key Exciting Responsibilities: 

• Spearhead technical pre-sale demonstrations of Tekla PowerFab and related Trimble Products to showcase solutions for complex steel fabrication workflows.

 • Act as the technical expert during the sales discovery process, diagnosing and solving critical business challenges for prospective clients. 

• Create and deliver inspirational content via videos, webinars, and live demonstrations across the Trimble Construction One ecosystem at trade shows and user events. 

• Collaborate directly with product development and consulting teams to provide valuable industry feedback, product testing data, and workflow requirements. 

• Consult closely with sales management and account teams to ensure individual client requirements are met accurately and effectively.

Essential Skills & Experience:

 • 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience utilizing Tekla PowerFab/EPM software. 

• Proven proficiency in estimation for steel fabrication, project management, purchasing, inventory management, and production workflows.

• Strong ability to read and interpret structural engineering and fabrication shop drawings. 

• Demonstrated experience in using the Trimble Connector for steel estimation, as well as a general understanding of steel erection workflows.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical information to diverse audiences. 

Bonus Points For: 

• Familiarity with Tekla Structures and structural steel detailing experience. 

• Working knowledge of additional Trimble solutions, such as Trimble Connect, Trimble ProjectSight, or Trimble's ERP solutions.

• Prior experience within sales or pre-sales environments. 

• Knowledge of broader building construction markets and applications. 

• Secondary technical or vocational degree.

Compensation:  Trimble provides the following compensation range and general description of other compensation and benefits that it in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position. This compensation range is based on a full time schedule. Trimble reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant’s sex or other status protected by local, state, or federal law.
