About the Role

We’re growing our sales engineering team and are in search of a highly technical sales engineer to assist prospective customers across all industries & customer segments. You’ll partner closely with account executives to understand the needs of our customers, strategize on how to navigate winning sales cycles, provide compelling product demos, lead the proof of concept process, and ultimately close deals.

This is a unique opportunity to join a quickly accelerating startup in a hot space and make an outsized impact to the trajectory of the company.

We offer a competitive salary. salary range will be around $175,000 - $220,000.

What you’ll do:
  • Assist with technical discovery & qualification early in the sales process.

  • Craft demos that translate functional capabilities into business value for our prospects.

  • Collaborate with AEs on best approach to sales cycles

  • Own the technical portion of the sales cycle in guiding our prospects through structured, milestone-driven proofs of concept, leading to a technical win.

  • Ensure successful transition to post-sales through effective internal knowledge sharing

  • Maintain and upskill your own industry expertise and knowledge of the competitive landscape.

  • Embody the voice of the customer with Product Management in helping steer the product roadmap.

What We’re Looking For:
  • Have 3-5 years of experience in a technical pre-sales role

  • Python as a second language

  • Love that at a startup great impact comes with great responsibility

  • Comfortable speaking to rooms of mixed-responsibility stakeholders among finance, FinOps, developers, SREs, and executives

  • Passionate about discovering prospects’ business challenges and what they need to overcome them

  • Eternally curious, more eager to learn than teach

  • Cringe when hearing someone say “that’s not part of my job description”.
