About the Company

Founded by pioneers in computational geometry and design, FEA, HPC manufacturing, and software architecture, InfinitForm stands at the forefront of AI engineering design. The company’s transformative platform streamlines the design-to-manufacturing process, integrating seamlessly with various manufacturing methods to optimize cost, speed, efficiency, and performance.

InfinitForm unifies computational geometry, physics-based simulation, and various manufacturing constraints into a single generative engine that produces manufacturable, lightweight and high performance prismatic designs. By collapsing analysis, optimization, and DFM into one workflow, our platform reduces engineering cycles from days or weeks to minutes – driving significant improvements in cost, performance, and innovation velocity.

Backed by leading investors, we raised a $12.7M Seed round in May 2025 and are now scaling our team ahead of our 2026 launch.

The Role

We’re hiring our first Sales Engineer to help customers understand the power of InfinitForm, guide them through onboarding and adoption, and turn product evaluations into long-term value. You will be the technical voice in the field — partnering tightly with Sales, Product, and Engineering to ensure customers experience measurable manufacturing and design outcomes.

This role requires credibility with design and manufacturing engineers, fluency in CAD/CAM/CAE and FEA workflows, and the ability to translate complex capability into meaningful ROI.

Responsibilities

Pre-Sales Engineering

  • Lead product demos, technical discovery, and solution mapping for engineering and manufacturing customers
  • Own proof-of-concept deployments and accelerate value realization
  • Articulate manufacturability and design performance outcomes in a compelling, technical way

Customer Engagement & Enablement

  • Build trusted technical relationships with customers – from IC engineers to director-level stakeholders
  • Support onboarding, training, and ongoing usage to ensure customer success and adoption
  • Lead early alpha/beta testing with pilot customers, documenting edge cases and industry-specific requirements
  • Diagnose technical challenges and collaborate with Engineering for resolution
  • Help customers translate legacy CAD/CAE/DFM workflows into more automated, constraint-driven processes using InfinitForm

Product & Market Feedback

  • Serve as the customer-to-product translator – capturing needs, workflow constraints, and requests
  • Provide structured feedback to Product on roadmap priorities, competitive gaps, and emerging use cases
  • Collaborate with product and design teams on UX/UI improvements based on real-world customer workflows
  • Influence messaging and positioning based on real-world engineering requirements

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Sales on deal strategy, evaluation timelines, and expansion planning
  • Partner with Marketing to develop technical content (case studies, workflow guides, whitepapers, tutorial videos, and webinar presentations)
  • Create reusable demo scripts, technical documentation, and training materials for customers and internal teams
  • Represent the company at trade events, industry conferences, and customer sites

Qualifications

  • 5 – 8+ years experience as a Sales Engineer, Solutions Consultant, or equivalent role supporting CAD/CAM, PLM, simulation, or manufacturing software
  • Technical fluency with mechanical engineering and manufacturing workflows
  • Strong command of CAD/geometry fundamentals (e.g., SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Inventor, NX, Creo)
  • Ability to influence both technical and business stakeholders with clarity and credibility
  • Startup-stage comfort: operating independently, moving fast, and building repeatable systems

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with Aerospace & Defense, Auto, Robotics, or Industrial OEM customers
  • Direct knowledge of DFM, GD&T, and tolerance analysis
  • Experience with GenAI or applied ML products in industrial contexts

Why Join InfinitForm?

  • Opportunity to shape our GTM playbooks and customer-facing technical excellence
  • High ownership – your work directly influences revenue and product adoption
  • Direct engagement with cutting-edge AI & manufacturing innovation
  • Competitive compensation and meaningful equity in a rapidly scaling company
