Sales Executive, Commercial Print (Remote)
Location: Remote
Type: 1099 Independent Contractor (flexible based on candidate)
About the Opportunity
We are a talent firm partnering with an established full-service commercial printer to add a producer to their sales team. Our client delivers high-quality offset and digital print, variable data, PUR binding, wide-format banners, and promotional products. They are a one-stop shop that takes projects from concept to completion, and they are looking for a rep who can sell the full breadth of that capability into new markets.
This is a remote Sales Executive role for someone who already has a book of business in the commercial print, packaging, or marketing services space. It is a hunter role for a producer who can bring existing relationships, win complex and higher-margin work, and grow a territory independently. You will not be an order-taker. You will be the person who opens doors, consults with buyers, and closes.
What You Will Do
- Bring and grow an existing book of business in commercial print or adjacent services
- Sell a full print capability set: offset, digital, variable data, PUR binding, wide-format, and promotional products
- Prospect and win new accounts across corporate marketing teams, agencies, and print buyers
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through quoting, negotiation, and close
- Partner with the press room and estimating team to scope custom, high-margin runs
- Hit and exceed revenue and margin targets
Compensation
- Structured as 1099 or W2 based on what fits the candidate
- Competitive commission with strong upside on the book you bring and build
- Earnings tied directly to production, with real runway to grow
Why This Role
An established shop with a complete press room and digital capabilities, where a strong rep can plug in and immediately monetize a book of business without fighting internal red tape. Direct access to leadership and the production floor means faster quotes, faster closes, and happier clients.
Requirements
- Proven commercial print sales experience with a portable, active book of business
- Strong understanding of offset, digital, and variable data printing and how to sell it consultative
- Track record of new logo acquisition and growing accounts year over year
- Self-starter who thrives working remotely without hand-holding
- Comfort interfacing directly with buyers and internal production teams to land the sale
