Tasklet is building the AI platform companies use to run their business on agents. A customer describes an outcome in plain English, and Tasklet gets the work done across their tools and systems—immediately or in the cloud 24×7. We are building for real-world businesses, where making powerful agents simple, trustworthy, and easy to control matters just as much as making them intelligent.

We're looking for a Sales Executive to bring Tasklet to businesses that could be transformed by AI but don't yet know what's possible. You will find prospective customers, earn their attention, understand how their businesses work, show them what Tasklet can do, and close them.

This is a full-cycle, outbound-heavy IC role. You'll reach out cold by email and phone, follow up with people who have tried Tasklet, attend events, visit businesses in person, run demos, and own opportunities through close—working directly with our founders, product team, and customers to build a repeatable sales motion.

You don't need to be an engineer, but you must become exceptional at using Tasklet. The best demos won't be generic product tours: you'll understand a prospect's business, identify valuable work that agents can take on, and show them a solution that feels made for them.

Compensation

Base salary: $120,000–$145,000

Uncapped commission: $120,000 at target

Equity: 0.07%–0.10%

Competitive benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401k, 4 weeks PTO, free lunch, etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Create your own pipeline and own the sale through close. Identify promising businesses and decision-makers, reach them through cold email, calls, visits, events, and referrals, then qualify, demo, negotiate, and close.
  • Turn business problems into compelling Tasklet solutions. Learn how a prospect operates, find the workflows where agents create the most value, and make it concrete with tailored demos.
  • Convert product interest into customers, moving people who have tried Tasklet from curiosity to a valuable deployment.
  • Get into the field. Visit businesses and build the trust that's hard to develop from behind a screen.
  • Become a Tasklet power user—build useful agents and demo credible solutions without an engineer in every conversation.
  • Build our sales playbook. Test segments, messages, channels, and demos; measure what works and document it.
  • Use AI to sell better. Build Tasklet agents for prospecting, outreach, and pipeline management—help us invent an AI-native sales motion.
  • Bring the market back to the product team: feedback, objection handling, and customer stories.
  • Deliver revenue. Activity matters, but results are the scorecard.

Our ideal candidate

  • Intensely competitive and driven to win, whether that came from athletics, military service, entrepreneurship, fundraising, sales, or some other competitive background.
  • Can earn someone's attention—writes clearly, speaks with energy and confidence, and makes strangers want to keep talking.
  • Comfortable hearing "no." Persistent without being annoying; rejection makes you more thoughtful, not less motivated.
  • Learns businesses quickly, moving from a messy description of work to a clear, valuable use case.
  • Can become great at the product—not a software engineer, but enjoys building enough to make it come alive for customers.
  • Takes initiative, creating what's needed rather than waiting for a perfect lead list, script, or process.
  • Improves systematically—reviews what worked, seeks feedback, and changes behavior.
  • Deeply excited about AI, and can make its impact feel practical and urgent to customers.
  • High energy and high integrity—builds momentum while telling customers the truth.
  • Thrives in a fast-moving, process-light startup, comfortable with ambiguity and imperfect information.

We welcome candidates relatively early in their careers and do not require a conventional sales background. We do require evidence that you have pursued difficult goals, persuaded people, and performed at an exceptional level.

This role is full-time and in-person at our office at 1 Post St. in San Francisco.

Read more about our company and apply via video by following the directions on our careers page: https://tasklet.ai/careers. For the demo portion of your application, show us how you would use Tasklet to solve a real business problem—or demo or pitch us on something you genuinely believe in.
