Job Overview

The Sales Executive is responsible for generating revenue through the successful sourcing and selling of Spotlio’s solutions within the attraction and ski space. This remote role will focus on actively sourcing and closing deals with theme parks, resorts, ski destinations, and other attraction venues.
The Sales Executive will have the opportunity to drive customer profitability by enhancing guest experiences and streamlining operational efficiencies using Spotlio’s suite of innovative technology solutions. The role involves demonstrating the value of Spotlio’s solutions, ensuring a positive Return on Investment (ROI) for prospective clients, and aligning solutions with each client’s unique business needs.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Prospecting & Lead Generation: Identify and engage key decision-makers within target accounts, including ski resorts, amusement parks, and other large attraction venues.
  • Relationship Building & Management: Navigate and cultivate long-term relationships with executives, department heads, and other stakeholders within target organizations.
  • Solution Selling: Develop and present tailored, data-driven proposals to prospective clients, showcasing how Spotlio’s solutions drive operational efficiencies and enhance the guest experience.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work across multiple departments within target accounts (e.g., Marketing, Customer Success) to promote Spotlio’s value proposition and address customer needs.
  • Sales Cycle Management: Manage the entire sales process, from identifying opportunities to closing deals, with a focus on high-value accounts in the attraction and ski space.
  • Customer Engagement: Conduct in-depth consultations to understand client requirements, develop customized solutions, and ensure alignment between Spotlio's offerings and customer needs.
  • Revenue & Profitability Goals: Achieve individual sales revenue targets while maintaining profitability and delivering measurable results to clients.

Key Goals

  • Lead Generation: Identify and develop relationships with key decision-makers early in the sales cycle, including C-suite executives, department heads, and other influencers within the attraction and ski industry.
  • Custom Presentations: Deliver compelling product presentations and live demos, demonstrating how Spotlio’s technology solutions can increase guest engagement and optimize operations.
  • Achieve Sales Targets: Meet or exceed personal sales quotas, contributing to overall revenue growth for the company.
  • Collaborative Teamwork: Contribute to the team’s success by ensuring effective collaboration and lead qualification.
  • Customer Satisfaction & ROI: Build strong relationships with new customers and ensure Spotlio solutions consistently deliver ROI and meet customer expectations.

Lines of communication

  • The Title reports to the VP Commercial and Partnerships.
  • The Title communicates with the Sales Team.

Working conditions

  • Minimum 100% availability as an employee of Spotlio Willingness to work outside office hours with notice.

Qualifications and requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in a quota-carrying sales role, with a proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Industry Experience: Experience in the attractions, ski, hospitality, or leisure industries is highly desirable. Familiarity with SAAS, E-Commerce, or digital marketing solutions is a plus.
  • Leadership Experience: Demonstrated success in mentoring and coaching junior sales team members (BDRs), with a track record of generating and qualifying leads.
  • Problem-Solving & Critical Thinking: Ability to quickly assess client needs, develop tailored solutions, and overcome obstacles in the sales process.
  • Sales Tools Proficiency: Proficient in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce/Hubspot) and other sales productivity tools.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels within an organization.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple priorities, set clear goals, and maintain high activity levels.
