The roleAs Lead of Sales for Higher Education, you’ll partner with colleges and universities to address academic integrity and AI literacy. You’ll engage Deans, Provosts, department leadership, teaching/learning centers, and instructional designers to show how Rumi improves the writing and research experience for faculty and students.
What you’ll doBuild and close a Higher Ed pipeline across mid-market and enterprise institutions
Run consultative discovery, demos, and pilot programs tied to clear success metrics
Navigate complex stakeholder groups (academic leadership, IT/security, faculty champions)
Create compelling institutional narratives: integrity + learning + responsible AI adoption
Collaborate closely with product to shape features, integrations, and onboarding
Strong experience in Higher Ed enterprise sales (multi-stakeholder, longer cycles)
Comfort selling to academic leadership with a pedagogical, faculty-aware approach
Strong written and verbal communication; you can lead a room and win trust
Self-starter who thrives in early-stage environments
Experience with edtech platforms, LMS ecosystems, or academic integrity tooling
