About this opportunity:
We are excited to offer an opportunity for a Sales Manager to join the Customer Unit United States Hyperscalers & Regional Accounts team. This position is engaging, fast-paced, and highly visible.
The Sales Manager will focus on driving strategic growth with key Hyperscaler customers such as Google, AWS, Azure, and Meta, delivering tailored Managed Services solutions for Data Centers, Edge sites, and global points of presence (POPs). This role demands knowledge of compute systems, large-scale networking (including optical and IP), AI technologies, and expertise in supply chain and commercial dynamics to meet the evolving demands of cloud, AI, and other digital workloads.
The successful candidate will collaborate with Hyperscaler leadership, solution architects, product teams, and global operations to identify customer needs, support long-term technological roadmaps, and position Ericsson's portfolio (e.g., optical transport, IP networking, edge compute solutions, and more). The role also leads sales efforts in areas like extended reality (XR), advanced AI networking, and next-generation connectivity solutions.
This role includes building and maintaining customer relationships, managing complex sales cycles, developing long-term account strategies, forecasting demand, and ensuring project success. A solid understanding of Hyperscaler procurement models, fast-deployment infrastructure, AI workloads, distributed computing, and emerging digital technologies is imperative.
The Sales Manager reports to the Head of Hyperscalers Sales and works with Sales Directors to identify and qualify opportunities across Hyperscaler clients.
What you will do:
  • Lead and manage the entire sales process-from identifying opportunities to closing deals-to facilitate profitability and long-term growth.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive activities, and industry developments to identify new business opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline through disciplined forecasting and structured account planning.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to create tailored, high-value solutions that address customer needs.

The skills you bring:
  • A Master's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • At least six years of experience in the ICT industry, with three years in end-to-end or solution sales roles.
  • Expertise in domains such as Managed Services, IT or Telecom Supply Chain, Sourcing, Cloud, and BSS/OSS infrastructure.
  • Proven consultative sales capabilities and strong understanding of Hyperscaler networks and compute infrastructure.
  • Experience working with Hyperscaler customers, with insights into the market and expertise in negotiations.
  • Skills in value-based selling, leveraging supply chain expertise and Ericsson's global reach to meet customer requirements.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to collaborate across engineering, supply chain, and product teams effectively.
  • Strong record of exceeding targets and objectives.
  • Self-driven, respectful negotiator, and confident multitasker.
  • Exceptional presentation skills, with high proficiency in both verbal and written communication.

Your Pay
The salary range for this position is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, and the candidate's combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.
The salary range for this position is
• $129,200 - $169,575
Sales Incentive Plan: Your pay also includes the opportunity for sales incentives as a part of Ericsson's Sales Incentive Plan. Actual payouts are based on performance of the business against the unit's objectives, individual performance, and the individual incentive target. Certain eligibility and pro-ration rules apply.
Your Health
Ericsson offers excellent health benefits including the choice of three medical plan options and a dental plan option that allow an employee to select the level of coverage that suits their needs. Employees will receive company credits in an amount equal to the cost that Ericsson pays toward the cost of their medical and dental premiums for themselves and eligible covered dependents.
Your Financial Security
We invest in both your short and long-term financial wellbeing. The Ericsson US 401(k) Plan offers an automatic 3% company contribution and Ericsson matches $1 for every $1 you put into the 401(k) Plan on the first 3% of your eligible pay, plus 50 cents on every $1 on the next 2% of eligible pay. When you contribute at least 5% of eligible pay, you are receiving Ericsson's full matching contributions. Matching and company automatic contributions stop when your total eligible pay for the year reaches the IRS limits. Employees will also receive company credits in an amount equal to the cost of basic life insurance and basic accidental death and dismemberment coverage, as well as short-term and long-term disability coverage. Employees also have the option to participate in Ericsson's Stock Purchase Plan.
Your Time
Your work-life balance is important to us. New employees are provided a minimum of 15 days of accrued vacation, up to 3 personal days per year, 11 annual holidays, 8 hours of volunteer time, and 80 hours of sick time annually. Please note paid time off is pro-rated based on the employee's start date. Furthermore, Ericsson provides up to 16 weeks of paid maternity leave and 6 weeks of parental or adoption leave at 100% of pay.
