For ICE Europe, the international exhibition for the converting industry, we are looking for a commercially driven Sales Manager (m/f/d) who is passionate about building strong customer relationships, developing new business and creating value for exhibitors and partners.

In this role, you will manage and grow a portfolio of international customers, identify new commercial opportunities and work closely with our event, marketing and operations teams to contribute to the continued growth of ICE Europe.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive commercial growth: Develop and execute sales activities across exhibition space, sponsorship, branding and digital solutions to achieve and exceed revenue targets.

  • Develop new business: Proactively identify, approach and acquire new exhibitors, sponsors and commercial partners while continuously expanding the event's customer base.

  • Build strategic customer relationships: Act as a trusted advisor to your clients, understand their business objectives and develop tailored solutions that maximise the value of their participation at ICE Europe.

  • Grow existing accounts: Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities across face-to-face and digital products, increasing customer engagement, retention and overall account value.

  • Develop market expertise: Monitor industry developments, customer needs, competitor activities and market trends to identify new opportunities and strengthen ICE Europe's position within the converting industry.

  • Collaborate across teams: Work closely with Marketing, Operations, Finance and Event Leadership to deliver an outstanding customer experience and achieve the event's commercial objectives.

  • Manage sales performance: Maintain accurate customer information, activities and opportunities in Salesforce, manage a strong and reliable pipeline and provide transparent sales forecasts and reporting.

Qualifications & Experience:
  • Proven track record in B2B sales, business development or account management, with the ability to develop relationships and deliver commercial results.

  • Strong new-business mindset with confidence in prospecting, opening doors and developing relationships with new customers and stakeholders.

  • Experience using a consultative sales approach, understanding customer objectives and translating them into compelling commercial solutions.

  • Excellent relationship-building, communication, negotiation and presentation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at different levels.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, international and highly competitive environment, collaborating effectively across teams, cultures and markets.

  • Entrepreneurial, proactive and highly organised, with strong ownership of pipeline, priorities and commercial outcomes; experience working with CRM systems such as Salesforce is advantageous.

  • Experience in exhibitions, events, media, sponsorship or the converting/manufacturing industry is desirable, combined with a willingness to travel domestically and internationally to customer and industry events.
